In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical components and systems to meet project specifications and industry standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of efficient, reliable, and high-performance solutions that push the boundaries of engineering excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and bring your technical skills to life in a fast-paced environment. Primary duties or responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conduct on‑site visits and provide system training Read and interpret mechanical drawings, piping layouts, and riser diagrams Understand HVAC/hydronic systems to identify key monitoring points (e.g., supply/return lines, mechanical rooms) Plan and prepare for system deployments and installations Install, activate, test, and commission monitoring devices and sensors Configure and troubleshoot communication networks for connected devices Diagnose and resolve issues related to device connectivity, sensor performance, and system reliability Analyze alerts, reports, and system data to identify potential leaks or abnormal conditions Train clients or building staff on system usage and basic troubleshooting Prepare documentation, reports, and CAD-based layouts for system designs Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients during project execution Provide post-installation support to ensure proper functionality of deployed systems Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Advanced degrees are considered an asset) Basic understanding of HVAC and hydronic systems (used for system context, not operation responsibility) Ability to read and interpret mechanical and piping drawings Familiarity with riser diagrams and water distribution layouts is an asset Hands-on experience in construction, mechanical systems, or fieldwork is an asset Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently in field environments and as part of a team Experience with basic software tools and CAD for layout/design support Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing project requirements Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle Join us to innovate at the forefront of mechanical engineering!
