# Mechanical Draftsman – MEP **Monticorp contracting and services** · Doha · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Mechanical Draftsman – MEP Job Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for MEP projects. - Develop drawings for HVAC, chilled water, ducting, piping, and ventilation systems. - Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software. - Coordinate mechanical drawings with electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and architectural services. - Review project drawings, specifications, and technical requirements. - Update drawings based on site conditions and engineering changes. - Coordinate with mechanical engineers, site supervisors, consultants, and other MEP disciplines. - Maintain proper drawing revisions and documentation. - Assist the engineering team with technical drawings and project documentation. Requirements: - Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman. - Must have MEP project experience. - Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical MEP systems. - Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. - Ability to read and understand mechanical, architectural, and MEP drawings. - Experience in preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings. - Good understanding of MEP coordination and construction practices. - Ability to work independently and coordinate with the project team. - Qatar/GCC experience is preferred.
