# Mechanical Draftsman **RITS** · Doha · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 6 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role MECHANICAL DRAFTSMAN Employment Type: Outsourcing – Full Package Location: Qatar Job Responsibilities Prepare shop drawings for HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Firefighting, and Irrigation systems in accordance with project specifications and required standards. Prepare As-Built drawings based on actual site installations and submit them to the consultant/client as per the project requirements. Assist the site team by providing shop drawings, layouts, and technical drawing details as required. Coordinate with Electrical, Civil, and Architectural teams to ensure proper MEP coordination and prepare coordination drawings. Coordinate with subcontractors regarding drawings under their scope, review and arrange drawings, and ensure timely submission to the consultant/client in the required format. Coordinate with the consultant/client regarding drawing comments, revisions, approvals, and other drawing-related matters. Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, submissions, and approvals. Prepare and maintain drawing submission logs and coordinate with Document Control to ensure timely transmittal of drawings. Report to the Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager regarding drawing progress, submissions, comments, and approvals. Assist the Mechanical Engineer with other project-related technical and drafting activities as required. Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Drafting or a related field. Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in MEP/building construction projects. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and mechanical MEP drafting. Experience preparing Shop Drawings, Coordination Drawings, and As-Built Drawings. Knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Firefighting, and Irrigation systems. Ability to coordinate drawings with Civil, Electrical, and Architectural disciplines. Good understanding of drawing submission, revision, and approval procedures. Ability to work with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site teams. Good communication and coordination skills. Qatar/GCC project experience is preferred.
