The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of mechanical engineering systems for multidisciplinary projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and undertake mechanical engineering design for building and infrastructure-related projects. Prepare mechanical design calculations, specifications, equipment schedules, layouts, and technical reports. Design and coordinate HVAC, ventilation, chilled water, plumbing, and other mechanical systems. Review project requirements, applicable codes, authority regulations, and client specifications. Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, structural, electrical, and other engineering disciplines. Review drawings, technical submittals, equipment selections, and design documentation. Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and BIM teams. Ensure designs comply with UAE regulations, international standards, and relevant Dubai authority requirements . Attend technical meetings with clients, contractors, authorities, and project stakeholders. Support project managers in resolving technical and design issues. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university. Experience: 7–10 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering design. Consultancy Experience: Strong experience within an engineering consultancy and multidisciplinary projects. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, mechanical systems, calculations, and specifications. Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP. Navisworks experience is highly desirable. Local Expertise: Strong familiarity with Dubai Municipality requirements, DEWA requirements, Civil Defense requirements, relevant Dubai authority regulations, and applicable engineering standards . Leadership: Ability to independently manage mechanical design packages and coordinate multidisciplinary teams. Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month Experience: Mechanical design: 7 years (Required) Work Location: In person
