MCA Junior Underwriter (Merchant Cash Advance)

About the Role

We are looking for a Motivated Junior-Level Underwriter to join our growing team.

This is a ground-floor opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in finance and business analysis — we’re looking for someone who is driven, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

You’ll be trained directly by senior team members and given the opportunity to grow into a high-level decision-making role. Responsibilities

• Review and underwrite MCA submissions
• Make approval, counter, or decline decisions with clear notes and conditions
• Communicate decisions to sales reps, brokers, and management
• Work closely with funding, sales, and compliance teams to ensure smooth closings
• Maintain underwriting turn-times and accuracy standards
• Ensure underwriting aligns with company risk guidelines and compliance standards
• Conduct merchant interviews to verify business operations, revenue, ownership, and use of funds
• Final Underwriting

Requirements

• Ability to analyze bank statements quickly and accurately
• Comfortable with high-volume, fast-paced environments
• Strong attention to detail and documentation
• Experience with MCA CRMs and underwriting tools (e.g., DecisionLogic, Plaid, Datamerch, Moneythumb, etc.)
