This is a crucial function in the manufacturing team as s/he oversees the lifecycle of materials to ensure that the flow and supply of materials needed for production are consistent and adequate through timely and proper planning and monitoring. Plan production tasks and schedules according to customer orders. Plan materials requirements to execute job orders. Investigate material problems, analyze root causes and provide solutions. Monitor materials on-hand inventory versus forecast. Monitor material orders, work closely with Purchasing to ensure timely delivery. Closely work with the Warehouse team about the availability of materials and monitor the flow of inventory to make sure that materials are ready for production build up. With reference to Sales’ forecast, need to set up and identify a schedule for ordering of materials and maintaining of efficient inventory. Plan inventory management to avoid shortages and excesses. QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering, BSIT, BS ComSci and/or related field Preferably with 1 to 3 years work experience as Material Planner Keen to details, possess positive work attitude Job Type: Full-time Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month Benefits: Additional leave Company Christmas gift Health insurance Life insurance Paid training Ability to commute/relocate: Biñan City, Laguna: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
