This is a 1099 contract position ideal for a self-motivated professional with a strong background in Marriott select service operations and the flexibility to travel as needed. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining brand standards, and driving guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations of Marriott Select Service hotels to ensure compliance with brand standards and operational excellence. Coordinate with property teams to optimize guest experience and operational efficiency. Conduct regular site visits and audits to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement Marriott policies, procedures, and service standards consistently across properties. Provide leadership, training, and support to hotel management and staff. Analyze operational reports and financial data to drive profitability and cost control. Collaborate with corporate teams and stakeholders to align operational goals. Travel frequently within the assigned region to support multiple properties as required. Qualifications Proven experience managing Marriott Select Service hotel operations or similar hospitality environments. Strong knowledge of Marriott brand standards and operational procedures. Ability to work as an independent contractor (1099) with flexibility and accountability. Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the Fort Lauderdale region. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficient in operational reporting and financial analysis.
