MARKETING & OPERATIONS MANAGER Department: Marketing / Business Development Industry: Recruitment / Manpower Services JOB SUMMARY The Marketing Officer is responsible for marketing and promoting the company’s manpower and recruitment services, acquiring and maintaining client accounts, coordinating manpower requirements, and overseeing the recruitment/operations team to ensure timely fulfillment of client needs and achievement of company targets. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Client Acquisition & Marketing Identify and develop potential clients and business opportunities. Promote the company’s recruitment and manpower services to prospective clients. Conduct client visits, presentations, calls, meetings, and follow-ups. Build and maintain good professional relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand client manpower requirements, job specifications, staffing needs, and deployment timelines. Prepare and submit company proposals, quotations, manpower offers, and other required documents. Negotiate service terms and coordinate with management regarding client agreements and requirements. Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for expanding the company’s client base. 2. Client Account Management Serve as a primary point of coordination between clients and the company. Receive, document, and communicate manpower requests to the appropriate recruitment or operations team. Monitor the status of client requirements, interviews, endorsements, and deployments. Follow up with clients regarding applicant evaluations, interview schedules, deployment approvals, and manpower needs. Address client concerns and coordinate with the concerned department for proper resolution. Maintain updated records of client requirements and account status. 3. Recruitment Team Coordination Coordinate with Recruiters regarding active manpower requirements and hiring targets. Distribute or assign client vacancies to the appropriate Recruiters. Monitor recruitment progress, applicant sourcing, screening, interview schedules, and endorsements. Ensure that Recruiters understand the client’s qualifications, requirements, and deployment deadlines. Conduct regular follow-ups with the recruitment team regarding pending vacancies. Assist Recruiters in developing effective sourcing and recruitment strategies. Monitor recruitment performance and provide feedback and recommendations to management. 4. Operations / Team Management Coordinate with Operations regarding deployed employees and client requirements. Monitor manpower deployment, attendance concerns, replacements, transfers, and other operational matters. Ensure proper coordination between the client, Recruiters, and Operations Team. Monitor team performance and ensure that assigned targets and deadlines are met. Conduct regular team updates, meetings, and performance monitoring. Identify operational issues and coordinate appropriate solutions with management. Ensure proper endorsement and turnover of concerns from Recruitment to Operations. 5. Performance & Reporting Prepare regular reports on client acquisition, manpower requirements, recruitment status, deployments, and team performance. Monitor recruitment and deployment targets. Track pending and urgent client requirements. Provide management with updates regarding client accounts, recruitment progress, and operational concerns. Recommend strategies to improve recruitment efficiency, client satisfaction, and manpower deployment. 6. Client Relationship & Business Development Maintain strong and professional relationships with clients. Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for additional manpower requirements. Seek referrals and new business opportunities. Represent the company professionally during client meetings, events, and business discussions. Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and responsiveness. 7. Other Responsibilities Assist management in developing marketing and recruitment strategies. Support company campaigns, job fairs, recruitment activities, and client presentations. Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or a related field . With at least 1–2 years of experience in Marketing, Business Development, Recruitment, Manpower Services, Account Management, or Operations . Experience in client acquisition, client handling, and business development is highly preferred. Experience in manpower/recruitment agency operations is an advantage. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills . Able to build and maintain good relationships with clients and business partners . Able to manage, coordinate, and monitor Recruiters and Operations staff . Strong organizational and follow-up skills , especially in handling multiple client requirements. Results-oriented and able to work with targets and deadlines . Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace and basic reporting. Willing to conduct client visits, field work, and business development activities when required. Able to handle client concerns professionally and provide timely solutions. Leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide team members. Can work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining proper coordination with management. Willing to work under pressure and handle multiple accounts and urgent manpower requirements. Work Location: In person
