Marketing Manager
# Marketing Manager **ProSport Academy Ltd** · Huddersfield HD1 4DX · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 2 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role You've been in marketing for four, five, maybe six years. Probably in an agency. You're good at it. You know you are. You've run the ads, built the pages, and fixed the funnels nobody else could work out. But somewhere along the way, you stopped growing. You're spread across ten+ clients you don't really care about. You're managing accounts, not making decisions. You can see exactly what would make a campaign work, but it's not your call. Someone above you signs it off. The client changes it. Or it gets lost in a monthly report nobody reads. And you can feel things shifting in the industry. AI is already writing the reports, managing the bids and drafting the copy. A lot of what fills your week won't be anyone's job in a few years. Stay where you are, and you risk spending your best years on work a machine is about to do, slowly losing the skills and the spark that got you into marketing in the first place. The part AI can't do is the part you're best at: knowing why people buy, judging the creative, and making the call. You're ready for the next level. You just need the right seat. And now is the time to move. This could be it. Here's who we're looking for. Some marketers are full of ideas but lose interest the moment they have to open the numbers. Some can read a spreadsheet all day but couldn't tell you why a landing page isn't working. You're the rare one who does both. You look at a landing page and you can see why people aren't booking. You change the headline, the offer, the video, the button. Then you check the numbers to see if you were right. You remove the emotion. You understand that marketing is really just maths and creativity. It's not your opinion that matters, or ours. The numbers tell you the truth. When you were wrong, you want to know why. When you were right, you want to make it better again. You like a steady weekly rhythm. Numbers in on Monday. A test live every week. A clear brief to the people making the videos. You don't need a big new campaign every month to feel alive. You get your buzz from seeing a conversion rate move because of a change you made. And if we're honest, this isn't really a job for you. It's what you'd be doing anyway. You read marketing and copywriting books for fun. You've got podcasts on conversion and sales playing in the car. You screenshot ads and landing pages that catch your eye and work out why they work. When you're deep in a funnel, hunting for where people drop off, you lose track of time. It doesn't feel like work. It feels like the good bit. That combination is rarer than it sounds. Most marketers are one or the other, and most of them switch off at 5pm. And here, you won't be one voice in a chain of sign-offs. You'll be the one making the call. When a patient in pain searches on Google at 10pm, lands on a page that speaks to them, and books that night, that started with you. When a clinic owner on the other side of the world downloads our guide, gets the right follow-up, and books a call with our team, that happened because you built the path and made sure nobody fell off it. You are making a difference in the world. Getting more eyeballs on our offers actually changes people's lives. If you're ready to back your own judgement, own the results, and do work that matters, keep reading. You won't be doing this alone Maybe you'd love to run a full marketing department one day. But if you're honest, you don't feel 100% ready yet. That's normal. And it's not a reason to hold back. We won't just hand you the keys and expect you to figure it all out yourself. You'll be mentored by some of the leading marketers running proven funnels in this space right now. Every week, you'll have access to their playbooks and group coaching calls, and first-hand insight into what's working, what's not, and what to test next. We'll give you the time, the energy and the resources to be successful in this role. We're looking for the right passionate person first and foremost, to join other like-minded people in our team. So if confidence is the only thing stopping you, keep reading. About us There are two sides to our business, and you'll be looking after both. First, the local, bricks and mortar side. ProSport Physiotherapy is one of the most respected sports injury clinics in Yorkshire. We have clinics in Huddersfield, Leeds, Denby Dale and Saddleworth, with Halifax opening in October 2026. We treat elite athletes, weekend warriors and everyone in between. Second, the global, online coaching side, where you'll get to do some pretty cool stuff with direct response marketing and funnels. The ProSport Academy (The 'Go-To' Physio / The 'Go-To' Clinic) is our education and coaching business for physiotherapy clinic owners. We've trained over 1,500 therapists across 50+ countries, and we teach clinic owners how to build a clinic that runs without them. Our founder, Dave O'Sullivan, has been an international sports physio at three Rugby World Cups, with England Rugby Union, England Rugby League and The Wallabies. He's the author of The Resilient Athlete and Happy Progressing Patients. We don't do corporate. We don't do vanity metrics. We speak the language of high performers: standards, systems and results. What you'll be in charge of This isn't one account out of ten. It's the whole thing. Five physio clinics across Yorkshire and the North West, with Halifax opening in October. An international education business with clinic owners and therapists in over 50 countries. £10,000+ a month in ad spend across Google and Meta, and growing. It's not how much we spend that counts, it's what we get back, so we're not afraid of spending money on marketing. 33+ new patients to book every week , and 10 sales calls into the Academy diary. A creative team: two full-time videographers, and a YouTube and social lead. A sales team and front desk teams ready to take every lead you hand them. Why this is your next step It's your call. No account director above you. No client rewriting your work. You report straight to the founder, bring the numbers and your recommendation, and make it happen. You do the work AI can't. AI does the heavy lifting on the numbers and the grunt work. You spend your time on judgement: why people don't book, which creative wins, what to test next. That skill gets more valuable every year, not less. You get to use what you learn. That idea from last month's book or this morning's podcast? Test it on Tuesday and see the result by Friday. One mission, not ten clients. Patients get out of pain and back to what they love. Clinic owners stop working 50-hour weeks and get their lives back. You'll see the difference your work makes. Real results with your name on them. In a year, you won't be saying "I worked on accounts." You'll be saying "I did this, and here's what it did for these people in pain." Room to grow. As the marketing team grows, this role has a clear path to leading more and more team members. And as the results grow, your pay grows with them. You'll be coached every week. Group coaching with leading marketers, direct access to Dave, and full access to the training and thinking tools we teach clinic owners around the world. Picture yourself twelve months from now It's a Monday morning, a year from today. You open the scorecard. Every clinic hit its new patient target last week. Again. The Academy sales team has a full diary, and the leads are better than they've ever been. You know exactly why. Because you made the changes that did it. You've run more than 50 landing page tests this year. You know which headline gets a runner with a sore knee to book, and which offer gets a clinic owner in Australia to pick up the phone. Nobody else in the business knows that. You do. The creative team comes to you with ideas now, because your briefs work. Your CV looks different too. You're the person who owns the marketing numbers for a five-clinic group and an international education business. With the results to prove it. You're earning more. You're learning faster than you ever have. And you go home knowing your work helped real people. That's the next twelve months. It starts with one message. The role: Marketing Manager We already have the pieces. What we don't have is one person making the calls. Deciding what gets tested, what gets made, what gets scaled and what gets cut. And proving it with the numbers. That's you. AI can tell you a number went down. It can't look at a landing page and tell you why people aren't booking. That judgement is the creative part, and it's the job. You won't be starting from scratch. The funnels, the lead magnets, the team and the tools are in place. Your job is to make them convert better every week, and to build new funnels to a clear plan, not on a whim. Core responsibilities 1. Make every landing page and funnel convert better Run at least one landing page test every week, and log what changed and what happened Find where people drop off between the ad, the page, the form and the booking Build new landing pages and funnels in GoHighLevel when we need them 2. Direct the creative Write a clear weekly brief for our videographers, based on what the numbers say Judge which hooks, videos and ads are working, and why Launch creative tests every week and cut what doesn't pay back 3. Own the ad spend Oversee Google Ads and Meta Ads across the clinics and the Academy Run Google Ads with our AI tools. You don't need to be a Google Ads engineer, but you need to know enough to steer it and question it Track cost per lead, cost per booked patient and cost per booked call, and move money to what works 4. Make sure no lead goes cold Build and maintain the follow-up emails, texts and automations in the GoHighLevel CRM Make sure every lead is handed cleanly to the clinic front desk or the Academy sales team 5. Own the scorecard Fill in the clinic and Academy marketing scorecards every week, before anyone asks Bring Dave the number, what caused it, and what you're changing next Who you are You've outgrown where you are You've got four to six years in marketing, probably agency side, and you've done the hands-on work You're tired of good work being signed off, watered down or ignored by someone else You want to be judged on results, and you're confident enough to back yourself You're obsessed with this stuff You read marketing, copywriting and sales books in your own time, because you want to You follow blogs and podcasts on conversion and ads like other people follow football You can't scroll past an ad without working out why it works, or why it doesn't You see why people don't buy You can look at a landing page and point to three reasons people aren't booking You've improved a page or a funnel, and you can tell us the numbers before and after You care more about whether it converts than whether it looks clever You dig into the numbers, then you act When a number moves, you want to know why before you change anything You can turn a pile of data into one clear decision. You don't hide in the spreadsheet You keep a rhythm You finish things. A test gets logged. A brief gets sent. A scorecard gets filled in You can run marketing for two businesses without either one getting forgotten You test, you don't gamble You trust your gut, then you prove it with a test. The numbers decide, not your ego You don't need a big launch to feel useful You hold people to the standard You can tell a creative their ad isn't working, clearly and kindly, and hand them a better brief You'd rather have the direct conversation than let a bad ad keep spending our money You're coachable and AI-first You bring your numbers to the coaching call, ask the hard questions and act on the feedback You use AI every day, and you'd rather use it to do more than wait for it to replace you This role is not for you if ✗ You're happy where you are and just fancy a change of scenery ✗ Marketing is just a job to you, and you switch off the moment you log off ✗ You want a senior title without doing the hands-on work ✗ You measure success in likes, reach and awards ✗ You get bored once the launch is over and the optimising starts ✗ You need someone to sign off every move before you'll make it ✗ You want to rebrand us and start again your way ✗ You see this as a stepping stone to starting your own agency What success looks like 30 days You have access to every ad account and GoHighLevel, and you know the starting numbers: cost per lead, cost per booked patient, cost per booked call and conversion rate You've audited every live funnel and agreed the top three fixes with Dave Your first scorecard has been sent and your first landing page test is live 60 days A test is running on every main landing page, with a log of what changed and what it did The videographers are working from your weekly brief and delivering on time You've built one full Academy funnel end to end, from Meta ad to booked call 90 days Every clinic is hitting its weekly new patient target, and the Academy sales team starts every week with the calls and leads it needs Cost per booked patient is lower than when you started You can point to the results and say, "I did that" What your week looks like There's a steady weekly rhythm to this role. But don't mistake steady for quiet. The structure holds. The problems change. This is an example to give you an honest insight, not a fixed script. We use GoHighLevel, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Workspace, Slack and AI tools every day. Team: You'll report to Dave O'Sullivan (Founder and CEO) and work alongside our two videographers, Clinic Group CEO, Clinic Ops Manager, Academy sales team and EA. Everyone owns their domain. Absolutely no corporate politics. Support and development: Weekly group coaching calls with leading marketers running proven funnels. A professional development budget, so the books and courses you'd buy anyway are on us. Access to all ProSport and Go-To Clinic training and frameworks. Benefits: Pension contribution. 28 days holiday including bank holidays. Why this role matters Right now, someone in Huddersfield is sitting with a sore knee, searching for help. A clinic owner in Manchester or Melbourne is treating 50 hours a week and wondering how to get their life back. If our page doesn't speak to them, they go somewhere else. If the follow-up never arrives, they give up. You're the one who makes sure the right people find us, and that nobody falls through the gaps on the way in. When a clinic has a full diary, you made that happen. When a clinic owner gets their life back, you were the start of that story. That's a very different feeling from sending another client report. We're not looking for perfect. We're looking for fit. How to apply Step 1: Send us a direct message telling us why you're ready for this role, and why now. This isn't an upload-your-CV situation. Step 2: Wait for our response and the next steps. We'll usually review within two working days. A final note. The best person for this job has done the hard yards somewhere else and knows they're capable of more. They get their satisfaction from a conversion rate that keeps climbing, a diary that keeps filling, and knowing it was their call. If that's you, this role will feel like it was built for you. P.S. If you got to the end of this and you're already thinking about which page you'd test first, you're the right kind of person. If you got to the end wishing there was more about brand and big campaigns, you're probably not. Still reading? Good. Apply below. Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year Benefits: Company pension Employee mentoring programme Work Location: In person
