Established in 1897, Globe-Trotter makes the most beautiful, durable and recognizable luggage in the world. The business has been Private Equity backed since 2020. Globe-Trotter is a truly global business trading in more than 80 countries, with significant brand awareness in Japan, Europe and the USA and an increasing footprint in the GCC, China and South East Asia. We are looking for a talented and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team in October. As a Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for supporting our marketing efforts by working closely with the Marketing Executive and Chief digital officer. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing, social media, and design, and wants to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Duties and Responsibilities - Support the Marketing team with day-to-day marketing activity, including campaigns, product launches, PR and events. - Assist with product launches, including product information, imagery, website content and launch assets. - Draft and edit basic marketing copy, including product descriptions, press release copy, email copy and social captions. - Support PR activity, including press requests, product loans, sample tracking and sending products to press and creators. - Support the social media calendar, scheduling and publishing content across global channels. - Create simple social and marketing assets using Canva and Adobe Photoshop. - Support the creation and editing of short-form video content. - Assist with event planning and execution, including RSVPs, suppliers, logistics and on-the-day support. - Help maintain marketing calendars, project trackers and deadlines. - Work with Retail, E-commerce, Product, PR and external agencies to support marketing activity. - Conduct competitor and market research. - Provide general and ad hoc marketing support as required. Requirements of the role - Currently studying towards, or recently completed, a degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion, Business or a related field. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with good attention to detail. - Comfortable writing clear and engaging copy. - Experience or interest in social media and content creation. - Basic knowledge of Canva and Adobe Photoshop. - Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. - Proactive and willing to take initiative rather than always waiting for direction. - Comfortable working as part of a team and communicating with different departments and external partners. - Flexible and able to respond to changing priorities, particularly around launches and events. - Passion for marketing, luxury, fashion, travel or lifestyle brands. - A positive, practical approach and willingness to learn.
