We are a UK business training company. Our live events are where most of our clients start, and almost all our marketing exists to fill those rooms. You will edit our video content, run our email and social output, keep an eye on several ad channels, and tell us every week what is working in numbers. You will report to our Head of Acquisition and work alongside a small team of specialists. What you will own - Ad videos (weekly): Edit everything our videographer shoots into short ads in CapCut: hooks, captions, cut-downs and versions for testing. - Email (daily): Set up, test and send emails and WhatsApp messages from our copywriter’s drafts, including event confirmations and reminders. - YouTube (twice weekly): Upload videos with titles, thumbnails and descriptions that get clicks. - Social media (weekly): Publish planned posts across our channels. - LinkedIn (daily): Follow up on post engagement and respond to comments and messages - Paid channels (daily): Monitor LinkedIn, Spotify, Amazon, Meta and Google ads. Check spend and results and flag anything off target the same day. You will not manage these campaigns, but you will spot problems first. - Review all landing pages daily - testing for errors or technical problems - Podcast (fortnightly): Manage each episode from supplying footage to the editor to publishing. - Quality checks (before every launch, and weekly): Test every live page, form and checkout on desktop and mobile, and run a launch checklist so nothing goes live half-built. - Reviews and reputation (ongoing): Ask clients for reviews, monitor Trustpilot, Google and Facebook, and keep our search results clean. - Reporting (weekly): Send one scorecard every Monday showing what moved and what to change. You will use Claude or similar AI tools every day to work faster: first drafts of scripts, captions, titles and reports. Everything customer-facing is approved by our copywriter before it goes out. How you will be measured You will be judged on results, not hours. Your Monday scorecard reports these numbers. - Ad videos delivered per week, on time - Hook rate and cost per booking of new videos, compared with existing ads - Every email and message sent on time, with zero errors in dates, times or links - Every planned YouTube and social post published, with views and sign-ups tracked - Every off-target day on paid channels flagged the same day - No paid traffic sent to a broken page - New reviews per month, and every negative review responded to within 24 hours - Scorecard in by Monday, every Monday, with one recommendation for the week What you will need Essential - Confident video editing in CapCut, with a portfolio of short-form work - Daily use of Claude, ChatGPT or similar to speed up your work - Experience sending email campaigns (GoHighLevel or similar) - Comfortable reading ad dashboards and spreadsheets - Meticulous: you test before you send, and you notice when a date or link is wrong Useful - Canva - Basic WordPress or Elementor - YouTube and podcast publishing - Understanding of Meta, LinkedIn, Spotify or Amazon ads The kind of person we want You report in numbers without being asked. You finish things rather than start them. When something is broken, you fix it or flag it the same day. You are proactive and a good communicator. Terms - Type: Self-employed contract. You invoice monthly and handle your own tax and National Insurance. - Location: Remote, using your own equipment and our software.
