Machobear Studios is an established tech start-up based in Vancouver. We are the creators of liv.rent, an all-in-one platform that connects tenants with landlords. In addition to developing and maintaining our platform, we work on a variety of exciting projects for our clients within the real estate and food industries, providing innovative tech and marketing solutions that meet their unique needs. We are looking to hire a Marketing Coordinator to join our team to work on exciting projects for both liv.rent and our diverse client base which spans across real estate, tech, hospitality and food industries. What You’ll Be Doing : Own assigned marketing tasks from brief through to completion, tracking deadlines, approvals, and next steps Build and maintain project workbacks and timelines, proactively flagging risks, blockers, and missing information Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, content, and other channels Participate in internal and external marketing meetings and prepare meeting summaries and clear, actionable next steps Conduct research and synthesize findings into clear, useful takeaways and recommendations Create presentation decks and document briefs tailored to the audience Review marketing materials and deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with the brief Support event and activation planning and coordination, including timelines, vendors, materials, logistics, and follow-ups Use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Claude Code to support research, content, and workflow efficiency Assist with day-to-day coordination between team members, clients, partners, and vendors Nice To Have: Experience with project management tools (Asana, ClickUp, etc.) Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) Experience with email/CMS platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.) Comfort reading analytics (Google Analytics, social insights) What You Bring Us: 2-3 years of experience as a marketing coordinator, or similar role Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, or a related field Proficient with AI tools and familiar with their use in marketing Strong deck-building and brief-writing skills, with an understanding of how to structure information for different audiences Organized and able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities at the same time Strong written and verbal communication skills A team player who works well with different personalities and departments Good critical thinker who asks the right questions, spots issues, and recommends solutions Proactive and takes initiative without always needing direction Detail-oriented and able to review work for accuracy and completeness Digital marketing knowledge or experience across social media, email, SEO/GEO, paid marketing, campaigns, events, and blog content What To Expect: Join a passionate and creative team that learns, collaborates, and succeeds together Comprehensive benefits package, including, health, dental, and vision Fully stocked kitchen, including coffee, snacks, and beer on tap Work in a bright and spacious open office space, along the Vancouver Seawall.
