Marketing and Sales Coordinator Job Description The role of the Marketing and Sales Coordinator is to drive new business sales while building and nurturing relationships with existing customers and stakeholders. The successful individual will have a blend of sales and marketing skills to drive business growth. He/she will be a strong self-starter who is process driven and has optimal organizational, analytical and operations skills. Duties and Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize sales operations processes Conduct marketing research to expand existing and new market opportunities Develop, nurture and maintain a new client data base Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and status updates Communicate effectively to foster relationships with new and existing customers Coordinate efforts for conference and meeting planning Set appointments and meetings for sales staff Create digital marketing campaigns toward target audiences Coordinate internal and external special projects as requested Analyze sales data to identify trends and market segment opportunities and provide reports to track progress Work with sales to enhance sales operations processes and achieve sales goals Develop, manage, and execute campaigns and outreach activities Track and manage the sales pipeline Stay informed on industry trends, best practices and competitor activities Other duties as assigned. Skills and Requirements Proven experience in business development or sales Comfortable using CRM software Strong verbal, writing, and communication skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Comfortable dealing with leadership and individual stakeholders within an organization Excellent organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in business discipline, with two to five years’ related experience.
