CASA Kane County is looking for a Marketing & Outreach Coordinator who is passionate about children, community, and making a difference. CASA Kane County is a Guardian ad Litem nonprofit volunteer organization that advocates for the best interests of children involved in abuse and neglect cases within the Juvenile Court system. We believe every child deserves a safe and permanent home. As the Marketing & Outreach Coordinator, you'll help shine a light on CASA's mission, connect people to our work, and build the community support needed to positively impact the lives of children. Your creativity, relationships, and ability to tell CASA's story will help raise awareness, inspire volunteers and donors, and strengthen the community around children who need a voice. This is a hands-on, people-focused role for someone who loves variety. One day you may be creating social media content or sharing an impact story, and the next you may be networking in the community, talking with donors, supporting a fundraiser, or representing CASA at an event. What You'll Do Create engaging marketing, social media, email, website, and community outreach content that highlights CASA's impact on children. Tell the stories of CASA volunteers and the difference they make in children's lives. Build relationships with donors, businesses, community partners, volunteers, and supporters. Represent CASA at community events, networking opportunities, speaking engagements, and outreach activities. Assist with fundraising events and special events before, during, and after. Help increase awareness of CASA and the issues impacting children and families. Create newsletters, press releases, promotional materials, event communications, and digital content. Manage website, email marketing, social media, and other digital communications. Work closely with the Development Team to support fundraising and community engagement goals. Juggle multiple projects and priorities while keeping deadlines and details on track. The Person We're Looking For The right person is more than a marketer — they genuinely care about children and believe in the CASA mission. You are: Passionate about making a positive impact in children's lives and the community. Outgoing, personable, and comfortable talking with donors and community leaders. A confident communicator who can make people feel connected to the mission. Driven, proactive, creative, and willing to jump in wherever needed. A strong multitasker who can keep several projects moving at once. Comfortable representing CASA at events, fundraisers, and community gatherings. Organized, energetic, and detail-oriented. Someone who enjoys meeting people and building meaningful relationships. Able to connect marketing, fundraising, outreach, and CASA's mission of advocating for children. Events & Schedule Flexible hybrid work schedule, minimum of 2 days in the office ( 1st 30 days of training in office 5 days/week). This position requires someone who is flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends as needed for CASA events, fundraisers, community activities, and other organizational functions. Requirements: Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred. 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit marketing, communications, outreach, social media, events, or related work preferred. Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organization and project management skills. Experience with social media, email marketing, websites, and digital/print communications. Canva, Constant Contact, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Feathr, or DonorPerfect experience is a plus. Must reside in or near Kane County and have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Why CASA Kane County? Because what you do here matters. CASA is committed to ensuring that children who have experienced abuse and neglect have a voice and a dedicated advocate in their corner.
