# Market Research Prod. Manager, Strategy and Insights, Reputation Marketing Insights **Amazon.com Services LLC** · Arlington, Virginia, USA · `On-site` · `full-time` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Amazon* --- ### Top Skills & Match 🎯 **Ключевой стек роли:** `[Marketing & PR]` `[Product Management]` --- ### About the Role Your primary responsibility as a Product Manager on the Reputation Marketing & Insights (RMI) team will be to work with the product lead on the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Amazon's content testing research program as a product. You will define what this research product measures, how creative and messaging insights are delivered to and adopted by stakeholders, and how the program evolves to meet changing business needs. You own the research capability and its output — the methodology, insights pipeline, and decision-making guidance it produces — while deploying and managing research vendors and third-party testing platforms as tooling rather than owning the technology itself. The work will challenge you to be resourceful, think big while staying connected to the details, drive cross-functional alignment, and embrace a high degree of change and ambiguity at speed. The scope and scale of what we strive to achieve is immense, but it is also meaningful and energizing. This is an individual contributor role. The right candidate possesses endless curiosity and passion for understanding perceptions and what drives them. You have proficiency in diving deep into large amounts of data and combining multiple data points to translate research into actionable insights and recommendations. You have a track record of making smart trade-offs, building alignment across teams with competing priorities, and driving crisp decisions when information is incomplete. You are an excellent communicator who can provide status updates, escalate issues, and align stakeholders through written documents, presentations, and other internal communication channels. You are a creative problem-solver who seeks to deeply understand business and communications strategy so you can shape research that informs stakeholder decision-making and messaging tactics. Key Job Responsibilities • Partner with the product lead on the product strategy and roadmap for the content testing research program — determining what to measure, how to deliver insights, and what to test next • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of the content testing offering — from stakeholder management, input gathering, and research design through delivery, adoption measurement, and iteration • Own the content testing intake queue as a product backlog, prioritizing and making smart trade-offs between depth and speed when demand exceeds capacity • Own the analytic output and reporting standards that enable stakeholders to make go/no-go decisions with confidence; interpret results into clear, timely guidance • Own the content testing insights repository and periodic meta-analyses that surface cross-test-round learnings and scale them across the RMI team and broader stakeholders • Define success metrics that distinguish outputs (tests delivered) from outcomes (stakeholder adoption, measurable improvements in creative and campaign performance) • Scale the program across CCR and partner teams; educate internal teams on best practices for content testing • In partnership with product lead, continuously simplify and improve the research product: intake processes, reporting templates, tracking systems, and documentation standards • Deeply understand the needs of internal customers (researchers and non-researchers) through direct engagement — observing how they use insights and identifying gaps between what they request and what they need • Evaluate and deploy AI capabilities to accelerate research workflows, insight generation, and delivery • Identify opportunities to simplify research processes, eliminate unnecessary complexity, and improve how insights reach decision-makers • Challenge existing research methodologies and assumptions; propose new approaches when the evidence warrants it • When needed, execute ad-hoc foundational qualitative and quantitative research, identifying actionable insights About the Team This team sits within the Communications and Corporate Responsibility (CCR) organization. Our focus is on conducting research that identifies messaging opportunities and informs communication strategies for Amazon as a brand. Basic Qualifications • 5+ years conducting strategic market research (quantitative and qualitative research) to generate insights to make political, business, or communications decisions • Strong familiarity with quantitative survey research and message and creative testing techniques, including A/B and experimental designs • Program and client management experience, including managing research intake and coordinating across multiple stakeholders • Experience in research product management, or equivalent experience owning a research product, testing program, or insights program end-to-end • Ability to translate results from measurement surveys, statistical models, and experimental tests into digestible reports, tables, and graphs that drive strategic decisions • Experience in written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership • Proven ability to work in an interdependent team and develop processes at scale • Familiarity with Python and basic generative AI familiarity Preferred Qualifications • Client and vendor-side experience, with very strong vendor relationships and diverse expertise around traditional and innovative methodologies • Experience in brand/reputation tracking, advertising, content testing, public policy and public relations • Experience in message development and tailoring messages to persuade skeptics and detractors, from exploratory stages to creative testing • Experience in paid media, and in particular reputational advertising • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements • Leadership experience bringing diverse, cross-functional teams together to deliver results • Experience with content testing platforms • Experience with using AI tools to accelerate research workflows • An ability to move fast, adapt to change, and build programs and systems from the ground up • Experience making prioritization trade-offs with incomplete information - 3+ years of product management experience - Experience managing technical products or online services - Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
