• Identifying and developing business opportunities in the polymer industry
• Identification, selection, and participation in relevant industry organizations, conferences, and collaborative initiatives
• Networking and relationship building with stakeholders, thought leaders, and collaboration partners
• Internal communication with sales, product management, and marketing on market requirements, applications, and business opportunities
• Developing and maintaining emerging technology markets through strategic partnerships, application development, and targeted market development activities
• Project management acumen and a proactive approach toward market development
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate effectively in large meetings
• 5 years of experience in capital equipment sales, business development, or related science
• Ability to travel up to 50% throughout the US and internationally
• Valid driver's license and passport
• Bachelor’s degree required in Chemistry, Engineering, or related science, or exceptional relevant industrial experience

As a Market Development Manager Polymers, you help develop and maintain markets for Anton Paar’s products and applications throughout the polymer industry. You identify market needs, establish relationships with key stakeholders and collaboration partners, and work across sales, product management, and marketing to develop business opportunities and position Anton Paar solutions in these markets. This is a remote position. The base salary range for this position is $121,000/y to $130,000/y. The compensation plan includes a bonus. We offer full benefits, a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.
