Oversee safe and efficient marine operations in accordance with the Safety Management System, maintaining vessel readiness, equipment, machinery, and onboard publications. Manage crew competency through training and evaluation, investigate incidents and accidents, implement corrective actions, and take part in SMS reviews and emergency response. Monitor and report vessel performance, liaise with terminals, charterers, customers and P&I insurers, and manage marine personnel, resources, and departmental budget. Requirements: Certificate of Competency (CoC) Class 1 or Class 2 Minimum 7 years of shore-based in SHE management, regulatory compliance, and safety oversight within product or chemical tanker operations. Strong knowledge of marine regulations, Safety Management Systems, audits, and vetting inspections (ISM, ISPS, MLC, OCIMF SIRE). Good leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills within marine operations.
