Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our RAVEN rotational molding operation in Alexander City, Alabama.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the facility, including employee supervision, safety, production, quality, equipment reliability, housekeeping, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is a practical manufacturing leader who is comfortable spending significant time on the production floor. We are looking for someone who can lead employees effectively while also understanding the equipment and processes well enough to assist with troubleshooting, routine maintenance, changeovers, and keeping production running.

Previous experience with rotational molding or plastic injection molding is preferred but is not required. Strong manufacturing supervisory experience, mechanical aptitude, leadership ability, and a willingness to learn the process are more important.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of the RAVEN manufacturing operation.

· Direct production employees and establish clear expectations for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and housekeeping.

· Plan and coordinate daily production activities to meet manufacturing and customer requirements.

· Maintain a strong shop-floor presence and develop good communication and accountability within the production team.

· Ensure employees follow established safety procedures and safe work practices.

· Lead and maintain basic Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.

· Monitor production performance and address issues affecting output, quality, scrap, or efficiency.

· Perform and/or coordinate routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of light manufacturing equipment.

· Work with maintenance or outside resources when repairs exceed the capabilities of the production team.

· Support tooling and equipment changeovers and help ensure equipment is properly maintained.

· Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, labor efficiency, material usage, equipment uptime, and overall productivity.

· Train and develop production employees and reinforce standardized work practices.

· Maintain an organized, clean, safe, and professional manufacturing environment.

· Work effectively with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and management to resolve production issues.

Required Qualifications

· 5-10 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Demonstrated experience directly supervising production employees.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to be hands-on with manufacturing equipment.

· Experience performing or directing routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

· Working knowledge of basic Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S, workplace safety, standard work, waste reduction, visual management, and basic continuous improvement.

· Ability to organize production activities and hold employees accountable for performance.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and make practical day-to-day operating decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in any of the following would be beneficial but is not required:

· Rotational molding / roto molding

· Plastic injection molding

· Plastics manufacturing

· Mold and tooling changeovers

· Preventive maintenance

· Manufacturing process improvement

· Lean manufacturing implementation

· Quality systems and root-cause problem solving

Pay: $60,000.00 - $82,700.00 per year
