Manufacturing Manager

Numilk is an industry-changing plant-based no-waste food-tech startup on an extreme growth trajectory and looking for high energy individuals to work at our Manufacturing Plant. As Manufacturing Manager at Numilk your first responsibility is to the Safety of our employees and the Quality of our products. You will be responsible for the overall operation of the plant, making sure Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Service and Cost are on target. You will also ensure that new equipment starts up with the projected efficiency, and that all production employees are properly qualified to do their jobs

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Quality

· Ensure the plant culture is such that nothing we do is worth getting hurt.

· Follow established safe practices and ensure all production employees follow them .

· Ensure the plant complies with all Food Safety guidelines to ensure our products meet the highest Quality standards.

· Make sure gaps identified by yourself or other members of the leadership team are addressed timely.

Production

· Create a weekly production schedule that meets the requirements of Sales & Operations Planning

· On-the-floor presence with the operating teams to ensure they have what they need to complete the production plan

· Organize the production team to ensure there is enough coverage to complete the production plan

· Lead the investigation of critical issues and communicate to leadership

· Identify training needs for the operating team

Administrative

· Manage the vacation plans for the employees to ensure continuous operation.

· Liaise with senior leaders on administrative matters that need to be deployed to the plant personnel

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of Manufacturing experience and at least 2 in Leadership Positions
• Excellent team player and collaborator, able to function effectively across the different plant functions
• Fluent in Spanish

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in Food Manufacturing
• Experience in a startup environment
• Mechanical and Electrical work experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
