Manufacturing Manager

Overview

MarkMaster Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to oversee daily production, coordinate schedules, maintain quality standards, and ensure orders ship on time. Reporting to the Production Executive, this role also supports employee training and performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily production schedules to meet shipping deadlines.
• Review orders for accuracy, material needs, and production timelines.
• Monitor quality standards and improve production efficiency.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Project Management, and Sales on materials, workloads, and delivery dates.
• Track production progress and communicate delays or issues.
• Arrange employee training and support skill development.
• Manage attendance records and approve time-off requests in Paylocity.
• Partner with HR on employee reviews and workplace concerns.
• Prepare production reports and participate in production meetings.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing position
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong ability to multi-task without losing effectiveness
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with specific, and often tight, deadlines
• Valid driver license

Working conditions

• Able to perform duties in a fast-paced environment with specific deadlines
• Able to work Monday thru Friday, Hours will be 6:30-3:30 with a one-hour lunch.
• Able to work overtime and /or weekends if needed

Physical requirements

• Able to stand for 5-6 hours at a time
• Able to regularly lift, move and stack items up to 50lbs
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
