Position responsibilities include the following: · Operational leadership: direct machine technician and material handling staff, creating and optimizing processes / templates achieving zero customer defects, run rate improvements, and fallout rate reductions · Improve and implement part set-ups / plans to boost productivity, reliability, and consistency in our sorting process · Drive improvements in part changeover time and optimize machine downtime · Drive preventive maintenance and 5S requirements · Support continuous improvement projects: bi-monthly CI Team Reviews, cost reduction activities, manufacturing process / development improvements, Experience / skills: · Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering role and Engineering Degree are desired. · Mechanical and electrical problem-solving capability · Self-starter, with a high engagement style. Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to grasp technical concepts quickly. · Knowledge of test engineering methods, Control Plans, FMEA, process flow, APQP, and PPAP, review of blueprints experience is beneficial · Excellent oral and written communication skills; MS Office proficiency · Support root cause analysis, corrective action recommendations and provide technical direction where required Measurables: Company: Zero Defect Product, Customer On-Time Delivery, Supplier On-Time Delivery Department: 100% adherence to PM and 5S requirements, optimize machine utilization, achieve FFT performance of min 90%, support / train team to meet expectations Pay: From $65,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
