We are looking for a Senior Manual Tester to strengthen quality assurance within Home Journey. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality deliveries across customer journeys, validating end-to-end business processes, identifying defects early, and supporting teams with test planning, execution, and quality improvements. The role requires a strong understanding of complex business processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, and Operations teams. Experience & Knowledge Required 6+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Strong experience in manual functional, integration, system, and end-to-end testing Experience validating complex business processes across multiple applications and integrations Proven experience in defect management, root cause analysis, and test reporting Experience working with large enterprise systems, preferably within banking, financial services, or highly regulated industries Understanding of test planning, test design techniques, and test execution methodologies Experience with test data preparation and management Experience participating in release testing Ability to challenge requirements and identify ambiguities before development starts Have a tester mindset (attention to details / quality / problem solving) Have an ability to work with international environment Are willing to learn and understand new tools and processes Have Pega application testing knowledge Office presence 2-3 days a week Location: Tricity/Warsaw Must-have knowledge and experience 6+ years of professional working experience (preferably Agile Teams) Business & Testing Skills Strong manual testing background Experience with End-to-End (E2E) testing across multiple systems Business flow validation capabilities Exploratory testing experience Requirements analysis and review Test case creation and execution Defect reporting and defect lifecycle management Risk-based testing approach Traceability management between requirements, tests, and defects Experienced in defining, executing and reporting tests for complex software systems Experience in System Testing of modern UI (Web/Mobile) Some experience with Rest services (API) Experience in test management tools (preferably qTest or similar) Jira/Confluence practical experience Experience in Pega application Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Attention to detail Proactive mindset and ability to work independently Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and ARTs Tools Jira qTest API testing tools (Bruno, Postman, Swagger or similar) Splunk or equivalent log monitoring tools Browser developer tools Nice-to-have knowledge and experience Experience in mobile apps testing would be an additional asset Knowledge of mortgage, lending, banking, or financial services domain Experience with Nordic banking products and customer journeys Basic SQL knowledge for data validation Experience using BrowserStack or similar platforms Familiarity with test automation frameworks and ability to identify automation candidates Experience with production monitoring tools Understanding of accessibility regulations (EAA/WCAG) Experience working with test data masking and GDPR-sensitive data Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience working in large-scale SAFe organizations
