Company Founder / Managing Partner (part-time)

This is not an employment opportunity. It is an opportunity to start your own business before you quit your job, working with an experienced team that acts as your cofounder for the first 12 months.

Location: Fully Remote

Part-time, about twelve hours a week around your current job.

DQventures is a global venture builder that partners with mid-career professionals. The best founders are usually a decade or more into their field. They have run a department, a practice or a P&L, but have never built a business from scratch. We do the building, the launching and everything in between, so you can test an idea with real customers while you keep your salary as your runway.

About You

You have at least 10 years of experience in your field. You may be a director, VP, partner or C-level executive. You have deep knowledge of one industry, a strong network inside it, and problems you have seen up close that nobody has solved properly. You may already have an idea, or you may have several and not know which to pick. Either is fine.

You are ready to put in about twelve hours a week, and you want to be CEO of your own company with growing revenue in less than 12 months.

What You’ll Do

We work in three stages, and you can stop at any monthly review.

Explore (one month). Before we build anything, we find out if anyone actually wants it. You talk to potential buyers and find out whether they have the problem, and allocate an existing budget to pay to fix it. If they would, we plan the solution. If not, you stop with your job intact.

Validate (up to 10 months). We prove the business is commercially viable. We build the launch materials and the first version of the product, then sell together to win your first paying customers. We incorporate the company together, then build the go-to-market engine and automations that enable growing to more paying customers.

Scale (ongoing). Once you have five paying customers and a repeatable way to win more, you run the business as CEO and we continue as advisors for the life of the business.

Everything a new company needs to make its first sale: brand, website, email infrastructure, MVP, financial model, sales materials and prospect lists, then outreach, automated workflows and AI agents once you are selling.

Structure and a model refined over more than 100 business ideas, with founders in more than 20 countries.
