The role focuses on delivering strategic tax advisory services to multinational clients across APAC. About the Company Our client is a premier global management consulting firm known for its comprehensive advisory solutions and extensive regional presence. Role Overview The Manager Tax will oversee complex cross-border tax engagements, provide international tax structuring advice, and develop transfer pricing strategies aligned with BEPS 2.0 and regional tax regulations across APAC. You will manage client relationships, lead technical teams, and ensure compliance with local and international standards, contributing to the growth of the firm’s tax practice. Key Skills & Experience Lead advisory engagements in corporate tax planning, cross-border restructurings, M&A tax due diligence, and international tax compliance. Formulate, review, and implement transfer pricing policies, benchmark studies, valuation analyses, and defence files (Master File / Local File / CbCR). Act as the primary trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders and tax directors. Navigate complex tax audits, advance pricing agreements (APAs), and mutual agreement procedures (MAP). Manage, coach, and mentor senior associates and consultants. Requirements Experience of 6–9+ years in Corporate Tax and/or Transfer Pricing within a Big 4, top-tier consulting firm, or multinational corporation. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related discipline. Professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CA, SCTP, or Admission to the Bar) are strongly preferred. Deep knowledge of local tax laws, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, BEPS Pillar 1 & 2, and regional APAC tax regimes. Outstanding analytical, commercial, and client-facing communication skills with a proven track record of managing project deliverables independently. On-Site working environment with a hybrid approach is required.
