Manager, Provider Recruitment and Engagement
Position Overview Resolve Pain Solutions is seeking a Manager, Provider Recruitment & Engagement to lead the physician and advanced practice provider (APP) talent lifecycle across the organization’s markets. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role will manage recruiting activity from initial sourcing through signed agreement, licensing and credentialing coordination, onboarding, productive start, and early-tenure engagement. The Manager will maintain an active pipeline of physician and APP candidates, coordinate a high-quality candidate experience, support offer development and closing, and ensure provider starts are not delayed by avoidable licensing, credentialing, onboarding, or readiness issues. The Manager will interact regularly with senior leadership, physician partners, Regional Business Managers, clinical leaders, HR, credentialing, and outside recruiting partners. The position will support provider capacity, timely hiring, and provider retention across Resolve’s markets. Key Responsibilities Provider Recruitment Strategy Support the leadership team, clinical leadership, and Regional Business Managers in executing physician and APP staffing plans. Maintain provider recruiting pipeline records, including candidate stage, market fit, compensation considerations, last contact, next action, target date, and risks. Prepare recurring succession planning, staffing, vacancy, pipeline, and start-risk updates for leadership review. Sourcing & Candidate Development Execute and coordinate sourcing through direct outreach, recruiting firms, networks, referrals, job boards, and other channels. Build relationships with physician and APP candidates, training programs, recruiters, and referral sources. Coordinate candidate screening, interviews, and maintain accurate activity records in designated CRM and workflow tools. Candidate Experience & Closing Coordinate candidate site visits, including itineraries, physician and leadership meetings, local logistics, and post-visit follow-up. Support offer development by organizing compensation inputs, approvals, candidate priorities, negotiation history, and closing strategy. Identify stalled opportunities and withdrawal risks; escalate with practical recommendations. Licensing, Credentialing & Onboarding Maintain an end-to-end provider start tracker covering licensing, credentialing, background checks, contracts, payer enrollment where applicable, relocation, and documentation. Coordinate with credentialing, HR, compliance, legal, and Regional Business Managers to resolve start-date risks. Maintain continuity from acceptance through the first 90–180 days and conduct structured provider check-ins. Provider Engagement & Retention Support retention through regular touchpoints, stay-interview processes, issue identification, and follow-up planning. Coordinate provider communication around coverage needs, ASC schedules, APP deployment, clinical initiatives, and operating changes. Document provider concerns, commitments, and escalation needs; prepare concise recommendations for leadership. Reporting & Documentation Produce recurring recruiting, onboarding, vacancy, and provider-engagement reports. Maintain candidate summaries, site-visit materials, onboarding checklists, retention-risk records, and reusable process documentation. Qualifications Required 4–7 years of experience in physician recruitment, APP recruitment, provider relations, healthcare talent acquisition, or multi-site healthcare operations. Experience managing candidate pipelines, interviews, site visits, offer processes, and candidates through start. Experience with physician or APP licensing, credentialing, onboarding, or provider-start processes. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple active searches. Ability to travel regularly to practice markets and candidate visits. Preferred Experience recruiting for a specialty physician-practice platform, ambulatory care organization, ASC, or multi-site healthcare business. Familiarity with physician compensation structures, employment agreements, and provider onboarding requirements. Experience with CRM, applicant-tracking, workflow, or recruiting-management tools.
