We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Noise Pollution Consultant | Environmental Acoustics Specialist to assess environmental noise levels, evaluate acoustic conditions, and develop practical solutions to reduce noise pollution. This role focuses on conducting acoustic assessments, monitoring sound levels, preparing environmental reports, and advising clients on noise control and sound management strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of acoustics, environmental regulations, and noise assessment methods, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental noise assessments and acoustic surveys across industrial, commercial, residential, and public areas.
• Measure and analyze noise levels using professional sound monitoring equipment and acoustic measurement tools.
• Identify major noise sources and evaluate their potential environmental and community impacts.
• Develop noise reduction strategies and recommend suitable sound control and mitigation measures.
• Conduct acoustic impact assessments for construction, infrastructure, industrial, and development projects.
• Prepare technical reports, noise monitoring summaries, acoustic assessments, and compliance documentation.
• Advise clients on environmental noise regulations, acoustic standards, and relevant compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, environmental consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Evaluate building acoustics, sound insulation, vibration issues, and noise transmission where required.
• Monitor noise control measures and assess their effectiveness after implementation.
• Support environmental management plans and noise pollution prevention initiatives.
• Keep updated on developments in acoustic technology, environmental standards, and noise control practices.

Requirements

• Background in environmental acoustics, acoustical engineering, environmental science, physics, or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of sound propagation, noise measurement, vibration analysis, and acoustic principles.
• Experience with environmental noise assessments, acoustic surveys, or sound monitoring activities is an advantage.
• Familiarity with sound level meters, noise monitoring systems, and acoustic analysis software.
• Knowledge of environmental noise regulations, acoustic standards, and impact assessment procedures.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prepare accurate technical reports and communicate findings clearly.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills when working with clients and project teams.
• Ability to manage multiple assessments and meet project deadlines.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Acoustical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Physics, or a related field is preferred.
