Manager, Legal Services
Summary The Manager, Legal Services is directly responsible for the overall administration of the legal services for ENTOMO GROUP’s global operations. This position reports directly to the Group CFO. Job description to review all existing and prospective ENTOMO GROUP contracting documents. to advise, review, draft investment agreements, contracts, documents for any corporate exercise, investments undertaken by Entomo Group. to develop enhanced contracting document templates for future ENTOMO GROUP contracts (customers/vendors/consultants/service providers). to review, comment and advice the company on all new contracts to be entered into by ENTOMO GROUP. to carry out a review of all legal risks, whether pertaining to contracts or legal operational risks and to develop appropriate policies to manage and mitigate these risks. to assist the ENTOMO GROUP team with any legal queries pertaining to contracting and legal risks. to assist in providing preliminary advice and strategy advice on dealing with any potential claims or actual claim, threat of litigation or potentially legally troublesome matters. to liaise with and deal with any external counsel and counterparties, in conducting any review of or negotiations of contracting document. to provide any advice and general counsel on all legal matters, to protect the Company's interest. Qualifications Must have a professional experience of 3-5 years within international environment's companies. Should have a specialization or a significant experience in Contract Law and corporate law, with exposure in corporate exercises. Experience in reviewing legal contracts with a balance with business perspective => business orientated Must be able to review international contracts which are subject to different laws and issues. Must be able to work and make decisions under pressure. Provide a balance between legal acumen and commercial appreciation. Must be able to identify the priorities and to work accordingly. Self-confident. Self driven and take initiatives. Available and approachable/accessible. Receptive to the needs of the business and stakeholders that are serviced. Capacity for analysis and synthesis. Organized and autonomous. Professional and dynamic. Supervisory Responsibility This position is a direct contributor role and has minimal supervisory responsibilities at the moment, but may involve some supervisory responsibilities in the future, as the department expands. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This position may require flexible timing to accommodate our overseas offices. Travel There may be minimum travel at the beginning of the employment for purposes of orientation and familiarisation, but otherwise, travel requirements are minimal and/or periodical. Required Education and Experience A professional legal qualification or a bachelor's degree in law and between 3 – 5 years of legal experience, particularly in contract/ corporate law.
