Proactively communicate guidelines for staff that shapes the unparalleled standards expected. Assists to manage assigned operational functions consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department and The Grand Ho Tram. Communicates the vision of The Grand Ho Tram property and inspire commitment amongst marketing team. Manage the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the company’s core service standards and brand attributes. Participate in the development of The Grand Ho Tram marketing strategies to increase volume, market, and hotel revenue, monitoring current booking trends and modifying marketing strategies accordingly. Monitor department expenditures and assist in the control of costs. Provide input into the research, development, evaluation, and implementation of new products, services, technology, and processes to ensure The Grand Ho Tram’s competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs within the dynamic hospitality and gaming environment. Direct the reporting and apprising of results against planned objectives; coordinates sales staff activities; take appropriate action to maximize sales. Create awareness and actively sell and solicit all goods and services of The Grand Ho Tram through attendance at trade shows and other industry functions. Develop marketing suggestions to maximize The Grand Ho Tram occupancy and average rate during low seasonal periods. Provide ongoing evaluation and account analysis. Know competitor’s product and pricing. Meet or exceed room revenue and Food and Beverage quotas. Solicit/contract group bookings, which are considered to fall within geographic or vertical market segment. Perform other necessary functions in relation to their groups on behalf of The Grand Ho Tram. Travel as required by Department Head. Maintain close contacts with Travel Agents, Meeting Planners and corporate clients to ensure customer retention. Maintain excellent working relationships with other department supervisor, creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction; compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and collective bargaining agreements. Closely monitor, analyze and communicate effectively the performance standards of the department, while providing metrics and regular feedback to staff regarding individual performance. Ensure efficiencies for continuous improvement. Participates in community, professional organizations, representing and promoting the organization through community involvement. Develop and manage individual sales plan and individual sales budget to meet or exceed revenue targets for identified territory in support of long-term revenue growth. Responsible for all aspects of new business development including solicitation, presentations, product overviews, needs assessments, proposal generation, and contract negotiations. Assist with developing group, event, and meeting packages for the property; create sample itineraries and pricing for each. Converts prospects to new clients and maintains relationships with these clients in order to generate repeat business and referrals. Identify market trends and develop strategic and tactical recommendations to the Director of Sales. Seeks new business through finding new on-line booking opportunities and revenue management. Maintain excellent working relationships with Key Wholesalers. Consults with representatives of client group or organization to plan details. Compiles month-end reports on sales goals and activities. Provide input in recruiting, training and evaluating performance of Leisure and Travel sales team members under direct supervision. To ensure staff delivers a first-class service with unmatched elegance and professionalism while promoting a culture of accountability. Business Development & Sales Support Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities within the Korean market, including corporate groups, travel agencies, golf groups, VIP customers, and strategic partners. Support the maintenance and growth of relationships with Korean agents, business partners, and key customers. Assist in achieving departmental revenue and visitation targets through proactive sales and marketing activities. Event & Entertainment Support Support the planning, coordination, promotion, and execution of concerts, sporting events, golf tournaments, VIP functions, and other special events. Coordinate artist, guest, and VIP arrangements, including accommodation, transportation, dining, and event logistics. Assist in preparing event reports, guest lists, promotional materials, and post-event evaluations. Marketing & Communication Support Assist in the preparation of marketing presentations, sales reports, business proposals, and management reports. Support Korean-language content development, translation, and communication for marketing campaigns, promotions, and customer communications. Assist in coordinating customer database management, SMS campaigns, and other direct marketing activities. Relationship Management Maintain strong relationships with Korean VIP customers and provide prompt assistance to customer inquiries and requests. Support customer retention initiatives and follow-up activities to encourage repeat visitation and loyalty. Cross-Department Coordination Liaise with Hotel Operations, Casino Marketing, VIP Services, Golf Operations, Food & Beverage, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Coordinate internal communications and follow up on outstanding issues to ensure timely completion of projects and requests. Administrative & Reporting Support Assist in preparing departmental budgets, forecasts, monthly reports, and performance analyses. Maintain accurate customer records, visitation reports, and sales activity reports. Ensure strict confidentiality of customer, player, company, and business information. Job Requirement Bachelor degree is required and Higher Education is preferred. Four years working experience required related to hotel, golf and casino. Proven experience with computers and business software. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Ability to communicate fluently in the primary language of the workplace both verbally and nonverbally. Fluent in Korean/English is encourage/required (depending on guest contact level). Proven successful sales record. Ability to structure sales quota goals and revenue expectation, while creating measurable results. Strong math skills and familiarity with statistical reports. Ability to implement strategic plans. Exemplary contract negotiation skills. Knowledge of market segmentation, yield and inventory management. Ability to create and present visual and oral presentations. Capacity to foster productive relations and communicate ideas, thoughts and direction in client and group meetings. Excellent guest service skills. Ability to handle difficult or stressful situations with tact and diplomacy. Exercise confidentiality with hotel and guest data. Adheres strictly to confidentiality agreements and other policies and procedures provided by the company and appropriate for the region. Strong understanding and appreciation of the concept of luxury and hospitality. Preferably experience in pre-opening an integrated resort with sized casino (at least 500 tables or 1,000 slot machines). Thorough knowledge of local regulatory requirements in the casino gaming industry Strong business experience in reviewing and developing marketing plans, marketing materials and collaterals Strong track record of understanding marketing dynamics and responding in a pro-active manner to assure achievement of business objectives Experience analyzing and marketing recommendations on promotions Ability to create effective cross-company working relationships and execute on business plan which requires multi-division participation Knowledge of the gaming, hotel, golf and entertainment industry. Must have excellent customer service skills Ability to supervise and direct work of employees Ability to write, prepare standard reports and documents Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Publisher, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,).
