Manager – International Tax
About the Role We are looking for a Manager – International Tax to work on cross-border tax advisory and structuring assignments, with a strong focus on India–UAE transactions, UAE Corporate Tax and succession structuring . The role combines technical tax analysis, transaction structuring and hands-on review of UAE Corporate Tax compliance positions. Key Responsibilities Advise on cross-border transactions , particularly India–UAE structures, by evaluating domestic tax law and applicable tax treaties. Analyze tax implications relating to dividends, interest, royalties, capital gains and business income , including withholding tax, PE, residence and beneficial ownership considerations. Advise clients on UAE Corporate Tax regimes, exemptions and reliefs, including Participation Exemption, Tax Groups, Tax Losses, Free Zone structures, Business Restructuring Relief and other applicable provisions. Review and technically sign off UAE Corporate Tax Returns , including positions taken, reliefs claimed and disclosures. Identify and evaluate UAE restructuring opportunities involving ADGM/DIFC structures and Foundations for succession, family wealth and asset structuring. Coordinate with corporate service providers/registered agents to take recommended structures through implementation. Monitor developments in UAE Corporate Tax and assess their impact on existing client structures. Support India tax teams on the UAE aspects of acquisitions, business transfers, restructurings, holding structures, outbound investments and exits . Evaluate proposed structures from an FEMA and Indian exchange-control perspective. Essential Requirements 3+ years of experience in International Tax, Cross-Border Tax Advisory or Transaction Structuring. CA or equivalent professional qualification. Strong ability to interpret tax treaties alongside domestic tax legislation and independently arrive at defensible positions. Comfortable working with primary sources such as legislation, treaties, ministerial decisions and administrative guidance. Ability to develop and compare multiple structuring options and explain the commercial/tax trade-offs. Working knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, or the ability to quickly build technical expertise in the regime. Strong analytical, technical writing and client communication skills. Preferred Experience FEMA and Indian exchange-control regulations. Indian international tax provisions. ADGM/DIFC Foundations, succession and private-client structuring. M&A tax, tax due diligence and corporate restructuring. UAE entity incorporation coordination with corporate service providers. Hands-on experience reviewing UAE Corporate Tax returns.
