This role will be responsible for crafting and executing on the digital strategy of applying for an American Express product. The successful candidate will have experience as a product manager building digital web and native mobile applications in an enterprise environment. This person will be expected to become an expert in the digital application experience and identify opportunities to enhance and modernize the user journeys while reducing duplicative experiences. The ultimate objective is to create a more consistent experience for our users while reducing technical overhead. A key aspect of this role will be playing an active role in compliance and regulatory initiatives, ensuring our digital experiences meet applicable regulatory requirements and accessibility standards. What we are looking for: - A strong product mindset with demonstrated ability to think end-to-end and advocate for users and customers - A digital expert with focus on the user and accessible design standards - An independent and strategic thinker who can connect long-term vision with near-term execution and measurable outcomes - Proven product management experience in an Agile environment, working closely with scrum and cross-functional teams - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts, influence stakeholders, and align teams around shared goals - Experience working in a regulated environment, with knowledge of compliance, controls, data governance, and integrity processes, is a plus Qualifications: - 3-5 years of experience in Product Management (preferred experience in Digital web & native mobile applications) - Nice to have background in front-end engineering and/or design - Preferred background working on design systems and/or component libraries - Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts and hands-on experience with prototyping tools - Ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders and teams - Enthusiasm and passion for great products and demonstrated customer focus. - Ability to take a collaborative approach to operate in a matrixed environment. - Sense of urgency and enthusiasm in developing a best-in-class products - Proactive – you find a way to solve problems regardless of how unclear they initially appear Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
