We advise listed companies, their major shareholders and directors on a broad range of corporate finance matters, including corporate transactions, trading suspensions and resumptions, takeovers, disputes and expert-witness engagements. Based in Hong Kong with international networks, we combine deep capital-markets expertise with practical use of various advance technology and tools to transform how complex corporate finance work is delivered. We are looking for high‑calibre candidates with a growth mindset to join our corporate finance team. You will work on a wide variety of special cases while using advance technology in workflows, gaining hands-on experience in complex deals, regulatory processes and cutting-edge productivity tools that will position you strongly for the future of corporate finance. Key responsibilities Support senior team members on special-situation and regulatory-driven corporate finance engagements (including suspensions/resumptions, takeovers and other complex transactions) Coordinate closely with clients, auditors, legal advisers, forensic accountants and regulators to drive execution Perform research, due diligence and financial / regulatory analysis, and prepare high-quality reports and presentations in English and Chinese Use advance technology and productivity tools to enhance our service capabilities Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Pelican's technology driven execution processes and knowledge base About you 1+ years of working experience in corporate finance, investment banking, legal, accounting or related advisory fields Strong planning and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under time pressure Excellent report-writing skills in both English and Chinese Proven proficiency in research, presentation and due diligence Strong interest in technology and demonstrable comfort using AI-based productivity tools (or a clear willingness to learn quickly) Solid working knowledge of the Hong Kong Takeovers Code and Listing Rules Experience in litigation support, the Companies Ordinance and/or the Securities and Futures Ordinance is an advantage A good communicator and negotiator, with a collaborative mindset Current holder of SFC Type 6 license preferred Attitude and Drive create Results Pelican is a friendly workplace with a 5‑day work week.
