This client is West Knoxville based, locally owned and a well-established group of businesses operating throughout the Knoxville area. Exceptional office working environment. Responsibilities: · Hands on role working in and overseeing the accounting functions and ensuring accurate record keeping and reporting · Provide financial support for projects, transactions and related business activities · Support and develop appropriate internal controls · Assist with budgets/forecasts and provide oversight of revenue measures, expenses and variance analyses · Coordinate with external CPAs and assist with compliance with local, state, and federal reporting and tax filings · Effectively utilize financial accounting expertise and experience to support operational, technology and organization wide improvements Qualifications: · Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar financial degree · Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience · CPA a plus but not required · Prior experience with complex accounting software · Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships · Strong communication skills and a team player · Proven organizational skills and attention to detail · Self-starter, highly motivated and executive presence How to apply Directly via email to recruiter@cj-pc.com.
