Management Trainee Program - Retail (3 months)
Programme Overview This 2-month Retail Management Trainee Programme is designed to groom fresh graduates and entry-level professionals into future leaders in retail operations will be held in Menara KK HQ. The program includes three structured phases: 1st Month: Theory + Practical Training In-depth classroom and hands-on sessions covering: Shop Assistant Training Programme : customer service, POS operations, merchandising Supervisor Training Programme : team coordination, SOP enforcement, inventory management Field Manager Training Programme : outlet performance, audits, leadership and compliance Includes role play, simulations, and shadowing opportunities 2nd Month: Management Trainee Training Program & Training At Outlet Assigned to a KK Supermart outlet for hands-on learning Perform daily tasks under supervision Rotate through various shifts to understand full outlet operations Apply learned skills in a real-world setting Take on operational responsibilities independently Assist outlet supervisors and managers with day-to-day decisions Apply leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Performance will be monitored and reviewed by the management team Key Responsibilities Participate actively in all three rotational stages Execute operational tasks and leadership duties based on training phase Analyse sales and inventory data for performance improvements Support promotional activities and maintain visual merchandising standards Drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence Prepare reports and share insights during progress reviews Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Retail, Marketing, or related fields Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply/ Minimum 3 years‘ experience in retail (preferably in FMCG, hypermarket, supermarket, or convenience store channels) Willing to work in shifts, on weekends, and on public holidays Open to relocation and travelling between outlets during the programme Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passionate about retail operations and frontline leadership What We Offer Structured 2-month training programme with on-the-ground exposure Rotational experience across three key operational roles Monthly training allowance/salary Certification upon successful completion Clear pathway to full-time supervisory or management roles Career progression in a fast-growing retail chain Mentorship and coaching from experienced retail leaders Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: RM1,900.00 per month Education: Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred) Experience: retail: 3 years (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 75% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
