# MAINTENANCE & FACILITIES SUPERVISOR **SV Animal Care W.L.L.** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 4 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role SV Companies is looking for a hands-on, proactive and reliable Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor to oversee the daily maintenance, safety and functionality of our office and warehouse facilities. This is a hands-on position . We are looking for someone who can not only supervise maintenance activities and coordinate contractors, but who is also ready and willing to personally attend to, troubleshoot, repair and fix maintenance issues whenever required. The successful candidate will be the go-to person for maintenance and facility-related issues , ensuring that problems are resolved quickly and efficiently to minimize disruption to our operations. What We’re Looking For: · A hands-on maintenance professional who is comfortable carrying out repairs and general maintenance work. · Someone who can promptly respond when something needs to be repaired, fixed, adjusted, installed or maintained in the office or warehouse. · Strong troubleshooting and practical problem-solving skills. · Ability to coordinate external contractors and service providers. · Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment. · Strong commitment to safety, quality, cleanliness and attention to detail. · A reliable and responsible individual with a “can-do” attitude . You will report directly to the Regional Admin & HR Manager and play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and warehouse facilities. Key Responsibilities: · Take responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance and functionality of the office and warehouse . · Act as the primary point of contact for all maintenance and facility-related issues. · Personally attend to and carry out minor repairs, maintenance, adjustments, installations and fixes whenever required. · Troubleshoot and resolve general maintenance issues involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, equipment and other facility-related items , within the scope of your skills and safety requirements. · Conduct regular inspections of the office, warehouse, building systems, equipment and common areas. · Identify maintenance issues and take corrective action before they become major problems. · Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, servicing and renovations as required. · Coordinate with specialized technicians, contractors, suppliers and service providers for jobs requiring external support. · Respond promptly to breakdowns, urgent repairs, facility emergencies and complaints. · Ensure maintenance problems are resolved efficiently to minimize disruption to business operations. · Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and records. · Assist in maintaining NIP compliance with applicable local building codes, health & safety regulations and fire safety standards. · Oversee building access control, safety procedures and emergency preparedness. · Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire and environmental regulations. · Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to requirements. · Monitor daily maintenance activities and provide regular updates to management. · Identify and resolve issues or delays that may affect productivity. · Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, service providers, suppliers and relevant authorities. · Ensure cleanliness and presentability of all common areas, office spaces, warehouse areas and facilities. · Monitor and manage waste disposal and recycling procedures. · Report hazards, incidents, major maintenance issues and recommendations to senior management immediately. Qualifications & Requirements: · Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance or a related role. · Practical knowledge of general building maintenance and MEP systems , including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical systems. · Hands-on repair and maintenance experience is essential. · Must be willing and able to personally carry out minor repairs and fixes in the office and warehouse. · Bachelor’s Degree or certification in Facility Management, Engineering, Building Services or a related field is preferred. · Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory. · Familiarity with NIP building regulations, safety standards, maintenance procedures and MEP systems. · Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and organizational skills. · Ability to work under pressure, respond to urgent maintenance requirements and meet deadlines. · Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility management software. · Reliable, proactive, organized and able to work independently. · Good communication and interpersonal skills.
