# M&E QA/QC Program Engineer **INSPYR Solutions** · Bowling Green, OH 43402 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role M&E QA/QC Support Engineer We are looking for an experienced M&E QA/QC professional to support quality assurance and commissioning activities for data center and other mission-critical construction projects. This person will work closely with design, construction, commissioning, operations, contractors, vendors, and other cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet quality standards and requirements. The ideal candidate is technically strong in mechanical and electrical QA/QC, comfortable working in a construction environment, and confident addressing quality issues and driving them to resolution. Key Responsibilities - Develop and monitor QA/QC metrics, dashboards, and reports to identify quality trends and issues. - Audit QA/QC activities, construction work, and documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements. - Review MEP submittals, design documentation, quality procedures, checklists, testing plans, and other technical deliverables. - Support commissioning, startup, energization, and testing activities, including reviewing commissioning scripts and schedules. - Identify quality issues, determine root causes, and work with the appropriate teams to develop and implement corrective actions. - Coordinate quality issues between design, construction, commissioning, and facility operations teams. - Work with general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and onsite QA/QC teams. - Help develop and improve QA/QC processes, standards, and procedures. - Train and coach construction and QA/QC teams on quality procedures and responsibilities. - Review construction and commissioning documentation for completeness and accuracy. - Track and drive closure of open quality issues in BIM360 and escalate items that are not being resolved in a timely manner. - Support factory witness testing, site inspections, equipment testing, labeling, signage, and other construction quality activities. - Participate in project, MEP/OAC, QA/QC, startup, and commissioning meetings. - Help ensure project turnover and testing documentation is complete and properly retained. Required Qualifications - Five or more years of QA/QC experience supporting data center, mission-critical, or similar complex construction projects. - Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical and electrical QA/QC . - Experience with commissioning (Cx), testing, startup, and/or energization activities. - Experience working with MEP systems and other critical infrastructure. - Experience with Design-Build construction projects. Design-Bid-Build experience is also a plus. - Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors . - Experience across multiple construction disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, I&C, civil/structural, or building envelope . - Experience with mission-critical power, cooling, or other critical systems . - Experience using construction QA/QC or project management tools, preferably BIM360 . - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams. - Comfortable addressing quality concerns, having difficult conversations, and driving issues through resolution. - Ability to lead, coach, and support QA/QC teams in a fast-paced construction environment. Nice to Have - Experience with CSLA disciplines. - Experience developing QA/QC dashboards, metrics, and reporting. - Experience with factory witness testing (FWT). - Experience reviewing Level 3, 4, and 5 testing and commissioning documentation. - Experience with data center construction quality programs. Ideal Candidate The strongest candidate will be a hands-on M&E QA/QC professional who understands both the technical and people side of construction quality. They should be self-driven, comfortable working across multiple teams, and willing to challenge issues when quality standards are not being met. They should also have experience leading or coaching QA/QC teams and working directly with contractors and vendors.
