The Store Manager will be responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the outlet reflects these standards while delivering strong business and operational performance. ROLE OVERVIEW The Store Manager will be the operational and commercial leader of the outlet , responsible for the smooth day-to-day functioning of the store, team performance, customer experience, sales, client retention, memberships, inventory, service standards, and overall store profitability. This is a hands-on floor management role . The Store Manager is expected to be visible on the floor, actively monitor services, participate in customer consultations, manage appointments, support the team, and ensure that every guest receives a consistent luxury experience. The role requires a strong combination of business management, people leadership, customer relationship management, sales orientation, operational discipline, and attention to detail. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Business & Store Management Take complete responsibility for the day-to-day operations and performance of the store. Drive achievement of monthly revenue, retail, membership, and profitability targets. Monitor daily sales, service performance, appointment utilization, and overall business performance. Analyse daily and monthly reports to identify gaps and opportunities. Maintain complete knowledge of product pricing, service offerings, packages, memberships, and promotions. Identify opportunities to increase revenue, average bill value, customer frequency, and store productivity. Control operational costs and minimize wastage and losses. Maintain accurate operational and administrative records. Support management in business planning, budgeting, and forecasting. 2. Team Management & Leadership Supervise barbers, front-office staff, housekeeping, and other store personnel. Allocate daily responsibilities and ensure adequate staffing based on appointments and business requirements. Prepare and manage staff schedules and shifts. Conduct daily team briefings and communicate targets, priorities, and operational updates. Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline, productivity, and overall team conduct. Coach and develop team members on customer service, consultation, selling skills, and brand standards. Ensure all employees maintain a polished and professional appearance. Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations. Maintain a positive and collaborative working environment. Address performance and disciplinary issues promptly and professionally. 3. Service & SOP Implementation Ensure complete adherence to all company policies, procedures, SOPs, and operational guidelines. Be present on the salon floor during services to monitor service execution. Ensure barbers consistently follow prescribed service SOPs and grooming standards. Participate in every customer consultation , wherever operationally possible, to ensure the client's requirements are understood and the appropriate service is recommended. 4. Customer Experience & Relationship Management Personally welcome and engage with VIP, repeat, and high-value clients. Ensure every customer receives a personalized and premium experience. Build strong, long-term relationships with clients. Understand customer preferences, grooming history, and service expectations. Handle customer complaints and service recovery professionally and promptly. Follow up with customers where required to ensure satisfaction. Monitor customer feedback and identify recurring issues. Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and referrals. Ensure the customer experience is consistent from appointment booking through service completion and follow-up. 5. Appointment & Floor Management Efficiently manage the appointment calendar and daily chair utilization. Ensure appointments run on time and minimize customer waiting periods. Coordinate appointments based on available chairs, barbers, and service duration. Optimize staff allocation based on appointment demand. Manage walk-ins without compromising the experience of booked clients. Monitor cancellations, no-shows, rescheduling, and appointment follow-ups. Ensure client calls and appointment-related enquiries are answered promptly. Follow up with clients for confirmations, rebooking, and missed appointments. 6. Sales & Revenue Generation Drive achievement of monthly sales targets. Increase Average Bill Value (ABV) through appropriate service upgrades and product recommendations. Drive retail product sales through consultative selling. Promote memberships, packages, premium services, and relevant campaigns. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling. Ensure the team understands daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Review individual and team sales performance. Coach staff on conversion, recommendation, and client engagement techniques. Track lost sales and identify reasons for non-conversion. 7. Membership Sales & Client Retention Drive membership acquisition and membership renewals. Ensure the team actively communicates relevant membership benefits to clients. Maintain a database of existing, inactive, and high-value customers. Develop initiatives to increase repeat visits and customer frequency. Encourage appropriate rebooking before clients leave the store. Conduct follow-ups with inactive and high-value customers. Monitor membership expiry and renewal opportunities. Build long-term client relationships that contribute to recurring revenue. 8. Retail & Inventory Management Maintain appropriate levels of retail products and service consumables. Monitor stock movement and identify fast- and slow-moving products. Ensure products are properly displayed and merchandised. Conduct regular stock counts and audits. Prevent stock shortages, excess inventory, wastage, and inventory losses. Ensure proper handling and storage of products. Report stock discrepancies immediately. Coordinate replenishment and procurement requirements with management. 9. Financial & Administrative Controls Ensure accurate billing and POS transactions. Monitor daily sales reconciliation. Ensure cash and payment procedures are followed correctly. Review discounts, refunds, complimentary services, and adjustments. Maintain accurate daily operational reports. Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost control. Ensure proper documentation and record keeping. Understand basic P&L concepts and the key financial drivers of the store. 10. Maintenance & Store Management Be vigilant about maintenance issues that could affect business operations or customer experience. Ensure equipment, furniture, fixtures, lighting, plumbing, air conditioning, music, fragrance, and other facilities are maintained appropriately. Escalate maintenance issues immediately and follow through until resolution. Maintain impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, ambience, and presentation of the store. Ensure the store remains operationally ready throughout business hours. 11. Brand Standards & Luxury Experience Represent Truefitt & Hill with professionalism and integrity at all times. Protect and enhance the reputation of the brand. Ensure all team members maintain appropriate grooming, appearance, language, and etiquette. Maintain the expected standards of luxury hospitality throughout the customer journey. Ensure consistency in service standards across every shift. Ensure the store environment reflects the heritage and premium positioning of Truefitt & Hill. Participate in company meetings, training sessions, reviews, and brand initiatives as required. Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in luxury hospitality, premium retail, salon, spa, wellness, hotel, or high-end customer service environments preferred. Strong experience in team and people management. Proven understanding of sales and revenue management. Working knowledge of POS systems and Microsoft Office / Excel. Basic understanding of P&L, sales reporting, and operational metrics. Strong customer relationship management skills. The Store Manager is ultimately accountable for ensuring that the store operates efficiently, the team performs consistently, customers return regularly, and every aspect of the business reflects the standards and heritage of Truefitt & Hill. Monitor service quality and immediately address deviations from standards. Ensure opening, closing, hygiene, safety, and operational checklists are completed without exception. Conduct regular operational checks and implement corrective actions where required. Ensure consistent service standards across every shift. Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
