# Lot Operations Manager - Austin **Collateral Recovery Team** · Austin, TX 78754 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Lot Operations Manager – Austin Collateral Recovery Team is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Lot Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at our Austin recovery facility. This position is responsible for managing yard personnel and ensuring recovered vehicles are properly received, documented, secured, processed, and released. The Lot Operations Manager will also oversee redemptions, personal property, condition reports, transportation coordination, staffing, and compliance. We are looking for a strong leader who can take ownership of the operation, manage employees effectively, and keep the yard running efficiently without constant supervision. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the Austin recovery yard Manage vehicle intake and ensure recovered vehicles are properly documented, secured, and organized Supervise, schedule, train, and manage lot attendants and other yard personnel Ensure adequate staffing based on vehicle volume and operational needs Monitor vehicle photographs and condition reports for accuracy and timely completion Oversee the documentation, storage, and release of personal property Manage vehicle redemptions, personal property appointments, and authorized vehicle releases Professionally assist debtors and vehicle owners during scheduled appointments Coordinate scheduling for redemptions, property pickups, releases, and other yard activities Coordinate with Transportation for vehicle movement, auction pickups, deliveries, and transfers Maintain accurate records of vehicles entering and leaving the facility Ensure keys, personal property, vehicles, and documentation are properly secured and accounted for Maintain an organized yard so vehicles can be quickly located when needed Monitor yard capacity and address operational issues before they disrupt workflow Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, safety procedures, and applicable regulations Communicate staffing concerns, incidents, discrepancies, and operational issues to management Work closely with Post-Recovery, Transportation, Caseworkers, Accounting, and Field Operations Hold employees accountable for performance, attendance, assigned responsibilities, and deadlines Assist with audits, inventory checks, incident documentation, and operational reporting as needed Work Environment Combination of office and outdoor yard operations Regular interaction with employees, recovery agents, transport drivers, debtors, and vehicle owners Fast-paced environment with changing priorities and vehicle volume Regular use of computers, mobile devices, recovery software, and scheduling systems Must be able and willing to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including high heat, cold, rain, and other changing weather conditions Must be comfortable working throughout an active vehicle yard for extended periods as operational needs require Requirements Previous management, supervisory, or operations experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Professional when interacting with debtors and customers Ability to manage multiple priorities and employees simultaneously Ability to work independently and take initiative Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Basic to intermediate computer proficiency Dependable, punctual, and willing to adjust schedules when operational needs require Valid driver's license Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required Experience in repossession, towing, automotive, transportation, logistics, impound, or vehicle storage is a plus Why Join Collateral Recovery Team?
