Overview: The Logistics & Trade Compliance Specialist is responsible for maintaining commercial relationships with logistics service providers, and for initiating & coordinating shipments to support the project sites, fabrication shops, and warehouses with focus on best service, price, and terms. This position is a Professional role recognized as an industry expert in CB&I markets, products, clients, and customers. The role directly reports to the Senior Supply Chain Manager and routinely interacts with localized Supply Chain team, Project Managers, Accounting, Engineering, and other key stakeholders. Responsibilities: Proactively embraces and promotes the company’s HSE requirements and culture Actively seeks and utilizes an effective mentoring relationship(s) within the department Establishes medium and long term career and personal development goals Enthusiastically seeks and accepts tasks and projects in rotations that allow for maximum experience and growth. Provides advice and guidance to senior leadership and company personnel on the application of government import and export regulations for the countries in which CB&I operates Coordinate with business units to ensure compliance with local, regional and global trade compliance requirements Support internal and external audit commitments including assessments, requests for information, process enhancements, and corrective actions Lead logistics activities including domestic and international transportation, freight coordination, warehousing, and material delivery execution Ensure compliance with all applicable import/export regulations, customs requirements, sanctions, and trade laws Develop and implement logistics strategies to support project schedules, operational requirements, and customer commitments Manage export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping documentation Perform other duties assigned as needed Qualifications: All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations 3-5 years’ experience in a logistics discipline with practice of regulatory compliance with import/export regulations related to international oil & gas industry. College degree or industry equivalent certifications Experience working with international customs and export control laws highly preferred EPC Industry experience Skills and Behaviors: Adaptability and Agility to learn and contribute in varying and complex environments Strong Communication - Written and Oral Proficient Computer Skills - Databases and MS Office Suite Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy of deliverables Understand and appreciate the importance of timing and deadlines Comprehension of INCO terms, shipping terms, and contract terms & conditions language Proficiency in mathematics & analysis of cost-benefits, & value-based decision making Problem solver & team player Self-motivated & proactive on all tasks #LI-SY1
