# Logistics, Suppliers & Fleet Manager **High Trust General Contracting and Transport Company** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 6 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role High Trust General Contracting & Transport is looking for an experienced Logistics, Suppliers & Fleet Manager to manage fleet and logistics operations, supplier relationships, transportation resources, and the sourcing and rental of vehicles, machinery, and equipment required for company projects. Key Responsibilities Manage daily fleet and logistics operations, including trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and transportation activities. Coordinate vehicle and equipment allocation according to project and operational requirements. Source and arrange the supply and rental of heavy machinery, equipment, vehicles, and other resources required for projects. Identify suitable suppliers and rental companies and obtain competitive quotations. Negotiate prices, rental terms, availability, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions. Coordinate delivery, mobilization, demobilization, and return of rented machinery and equipment. Manage suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers and monitor their performance. Monitor vehicle and equipment utilization, availability, fuel consumption, rental costs, and operating expenses. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure company-owned vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and available for operation. Monitor vehicle and equipment registration, insurance, permits, inspections, and other required documentation. Coordinate with drivers, operators, supervisors, workshops, and project teams to ensure smooth operations. Support project teams in arranging additional manpower, vehicles, machinery, and equipment when required. Maintain an updated database of suppliers, rental companies, equipment, rental rates, and availability. Monitor supplier invoices, rental periods, contracts, and related documentation. Support cost control and identify opportunities to reduce fleet, logistics, rental, and transportation costs. Maintain accurate fleet, equipment, supplier, rental, maintenance, and logistics records. Prepare regular reports on fleet utilization, equipment availability, supplier performance, rental activities, and logistics costs. Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE regulations, and project requirements. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, fleet, transportation, equipment, or procurement-related operations. Experience in construction, contracting, transportation, or heavy equipment operations is highly preferred. Strong experience in fleet, driver, and equipment management. Practical experience in sourcing and renting heavy machinery and equipment , including excavators, loaders, graders, rollers, water tankers, dump trucks, trailers, and other construction equipment. Strong supplier, vendor management, and negotiation skills. Good knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance, registration, insurance, permits, inspections, and operational documentation. Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of MS Office and logistics/fleet reporting. UAE driving license is an advantage. Immediate availability to join is mandatory. Preferred Candidate Strong knowledge of the Abu Dhabi/UAE logistics, transportation, and construction equipment rental markets . Established contacts with equipment suppliers, rental companies, transport providers, and subcontractors will be an advantage. Experience managing trucks, trailers, heavy machinery, drivers, and operators. Ability to quickly source required equipment and negotiate competitive rates. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance availability, quality, and cost . Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple projects and operational requirements.
