Logistics Supervisor

DataOne Construction is a self-performing general contractor working across all skilled trades. We’re looking for a Site Logistics Manager to oversee how materials and equipment arrive, are stored, and move around our project sites.

About the Role This job will be in New Jersey for the 1st three months, then moving to Indiana. This is an inbound logistics role. You’ll focus on receiving materials and equipment, not shipping them out. You’ll make sure everything arrives on time, is tracked, and has a place to go, including finding and securing land for lay-down yards when a project needs more space.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the receipt, inspection, and tracking of materials and equipment arriving on site
• Find and secure parcels of land for lay-down and staging yards, working with landowners, brokers, and local officials on leases and permits
• Create and maintain site logistics maps showing lay-down areas, delivery routes, staging zones, and access points
• Maintain OFCI (Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed) equipment logs, tracking delivery, storage, condition, and installation status
• Plan and update site egress and traffic routes as the project progresses, keeping deliveries safe and efficient
• Coordinate delivery schedules with vendors, owners, and project teams to avoid congestion and delays
• Lead, train, and manage a team of logistics and receiving staff

What You Bring

• 5+ years of logistics, materials management, or site logistics experience, ideally in construction
• Real estate or land acquisition experience, including identifying, evaluating, and leasing land
• Experience creating site logistics plans and maps
• Experience tracking owner-furnished or high-value equipment
• Proven experience managing a team
• Strong organization and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience on data center, industrial, or large commercial projects
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar tools
• OSHA 30 certification

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
