Logistics Operations Supervisor (Container Pickup, Unloading & Delivery)

Location — City of Industry, CA 91748

Responsibilities

• Oversee container pickup, warehouse unloading, freight delivery, and empty container returns. Track progress at each stage.
• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff to schedule arrivals, prioritize unloading, and assign warehouse crews.
• Monitor terminal appointments and pickup and return deadlines. Resolve delays, shortages, cargo damage, and delivery issues.
• Supervise daily warehouse operations and verify unloading records, proofs of delivery, and related paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in container logistics, port drayage dispatch, warehouse operations, or freight transportation.
• Ability to coordinate independently with carriers and warehouse teams and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Team leadership experience and familiarity with container pickup and return procedures at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach are preferred.
