# Logistic/Warehouse Manager **EXCELIN MARKETING OPC** · Balintawak 1106 P00 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role JOB PURPOSE The Warehouse and Logistics Manager is responsible for the overall management and supervision of warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory control, receiving, storage, picking, loading, dispatching, delivery, transportation, fleet coordination, and route planning. The position ensures that products are properly stored, accurately accounted for, and delivered to customers on time, in complete quantity, and in good condition. The position is also responsible for maintaining operational efficiency, controlling logistics costs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and continuously improving warehouse and delivery processes. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESA. Warehouse Operations Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, unloading, storage, picking, checking, staging, loading, dispatching, and returns. Ensure that all incoming and outgoing items are properly documented and accounted for. Maintain proper warehouse organization, cleanliness, safety, and space utilization. Ensure that items are properly labeled, coded, stored, and arranged according to company procedures. Monitor warehouse manpower and assign duties according to operational requirements. Ensure proper handling of company materials, equipment, tools, and other assets. Implement and maintain effective warehouse procedures and controls to prevent loss, damage, and unauthorized issuance of items. Recommend improvements in warehouse layout, storage systems, material handling, and workflow. B. Inventory Management and Control Monitor the accuracy of physical inventory versus system records. Ensure regular physical counting, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation. Investigate inventory variances, shortages, overages, missing items, and unexplained discrepancies. Ensure that all inventory movements are properly supported by approved documents such as Receiving Reports, Delivery Receipts, Stock Transfer Forms, and other applicable documents. Coordinate with the Inventory Controller and Accounting Department regarding inventory discrepancies and adjustments. Monitor slow-moving, damaged, obsolete, returned, and unsellable items and recommend appropriate action. Ensure that items released from the warehouse are properly recorded and deducted from inventory. Review inventory reports and submit recommendations to management regarding recurring variances and control weaknesses. C. Logistics and Delivery Operations Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily delivery schedules based on customer requirements, Sales Orders, Delivery Receipts, truck availability, and manpower. Ensure that the right items, quantity, and documents are loaded before dispatch. Monitor delivery performance and ensure timely and complete delivery to customers. Coordinate with Sales, Accounting, Admin, and other departments regarding delivery requirements, priorities, and concerns. Monitor delivery delays, failed deliveries, customer complaints, returns, shortages, damages, and other delivery-related incidents. Investigate delivery problems and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Monitor the proper liquidation and submission of Delivery Receipts and other delivery documents. Ensure proper coordination between warehouse personnel, checkers, drivers, helpers, and logistics staff. D. Route Planning and Luzon Area Knowledge Maintain sufficient knowledge of major routes, cities, municipalities, highways, and delivery areas throughout Luzon. Plan practical and cost-efficient delivery routes based on destination, traffic conditions, truck capacity, delivery schedules, and customer requirements. Determine appropriate truck assignment and route sequence for each trip. Consider distance, travel time, truck restrictions, loading capacity, delivery priorities, and road conditions when planning routes. Monitor route performance and recommend adjustments to reduce unnecessary travel time, fuel consumption, and delivery costs. Maintain awareness of alternative routes in case of traffic, road closures, weather conditions, or other disruptions. E. Delivery Receipt and Documentation Control Ensure that Delivery Receipts (DRs) are properly prepared, checked, issued, returned, and filed. Verify that DR details correspond with the Sales Order, actual loaded items, quantities, and delivery requirements. Ensure that DR numbers are properly followed and recorded for monitoring and reconciliation. Monitor the timely return of signed Delivery Receipts and other proof of delivery documents. Investigate missing, incomplete, unsigned, or incorrect delivery documents. Coordinate with Accounting and Sales regarding discrepancies in delivery documentation. F. Truck and Fleet Management Monitor the availability and utilization of company trucks and delivery vehicles. Coordinate preventive maintenance, repair requests, inspections, and other vehicle requirements with the appropriate department. Monitor truck tools, tires, equipment, and other assigned fleet assets. Ensure that drivers conduct proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Monitor vehicle condition and immediately report safety or mechanical concerns. Review vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, repair expenses, downtime, and other fleet-related costs. Recommend measures to improve vehicle utilization and reduce unnecessary operating expenses. G. People Management and Supervision Lead, supervise, and provide direction to warehouse and logistics personnel. Assign duties and responsibilities based on manpower requirements and operational priorities. Monitor employee attendance, productivity, work quality, and compliance with company policies. Conduct coaching and provide feedback to employees regarding performance and work-related concerns. Identify training needs of warehouse, logistics, drivers, checkers, and helpers. Ensure that employees properly follow company policies, SOPs, safety procedures, and work guidelines. Recommend appropriate corrective action for repeated violations, negligence, or failure to follow established procedures. H. Reporting and KPI Monitoring Prepare and submit regular warehouse and logistics reports to management. Monitor key performance indicators such as: Inventory accuracy Inventory variance On-time delivery Complete delivery Delivery turnaround time Truck utilization Fuel consumption Logistics cost Warehouse productivity Delivery incidents Returns and shortages Analyze operational data and identify recurring problems, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Present recommendations to management based on operational findings and performance reports. I. Compliance and Process Improvement Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse procedures, logistics procedures, safety rules, and applicable Philippine laws and regulations. Implement and continuously improve warehouse and logistics SOPs. Ensure that warehouse and logistics operations are properly documented and audit-ready. Conduct regular operational checks and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with other departments to improve the overall flow of products, information, documents, and deliveries. Promote accountability, discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the department. J. Other Duties Attend management meetings and provide updates regarding warehouse and logistics operations. Assist management in developing operational plans, budgets, and cost-saving initiatives. Handle urgent operational concerns and provide immediate solutions when necessary. Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by management from time to time.
