Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive logistics manager to oversee our end-to-end supply chain, warehousing, freight forwarding, and project site deliveries.

In this role, you will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that delicate, high-value architectural lighting fixtures, smart automation hardware, and system components are imported, stored, and delivered to major construction and fit-out sites safely, on time, and within budget. You will manage local and international shipping vendors, streamline inventory management, and ensure flawless coordination between our procurement, engineering, and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain & Freight Operations

-

Manage end-to-end inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating international shipments (air, sea, land) from global manufacturers and suppliers to our warehouse in Dubai and Muscat.

Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to optimize costs and transit times.

Manage customs clearance procedures, ensuring full compliance with UAE and regional GCC customs regulations, duties, import permits, and compliance documentation.

Implement and supervise suitable systems for an efficient procurement process (from release of PO to delivery of material to site) including but not limited to checking documentation, inspecting material received, planning with stakeholders, etc

1. Warehouse & Inventory Management

-

Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring optimal space utilization, safe handling, efficient loading/unloading, and secure storage of sensitive architectural lighting fixtures and electronics.

Implement robust inventory control systems to track stock levels, prevent damage or loss, and conduct regular physical stock audits.

Implement and track incoming and outgoing stock to ensure efficient stock rotation

Coordinate incoming shipments with warehouse staff for efficient offloading, quality checks, tagging, and storage.

Supervise and Train the warehouse + logistics team to improve performance and effectiveness

1. Project Site Logistics & Last-Mile Delivery

-

Collaborate closely with Sales team, design team, project managers and site engineers to schedule timely last-mile deliveries aligned with construction milestones and fit-out phases.

Manage local transport and third-party delivery partners to ensure fragile lighting and control panels arrive at client sites intact and installation-ready.

Handle logistics troubleshooting on-site, resolving any delivery delays or transit damages swiftly.

1. Documentation & Compliance

Maintain meticulous records of shipping documents, bills of lading, certificates of origin, commercial invoices, and packing lists.

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all warehousing and transportation operations.

Generate regular logistics performance reports, analyzing shipping costs, lead times, and vendor reliability.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

-

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

5 to 8+ years of proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, ideally within the construction, MEP, interior fit-out, building materials, or specialized technical equipment industries.

Hands-on experience managing import/export operations within the UAE and the broader GCC region.

Technical Knowledge:

Deep familiarity with GCC customs clearance processes, free zone operations, and Incoterms.

Experience handling fragile, high-value electronic or architectural hardware is highly preferred.

Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and vendor management skills.

Strong proficiency in ERP/inventory management software (preferably Odoo) and advanced MS Excel.

Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to juggle multiple project deadlines under pressure.
