Position: Logistic Engineer – Project Site Operations

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Logistic Engineer for our High-Rise Residential Building Project in Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling site logistics operations to ensure efficient material movement, lifting operations, and smooth construction progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage overall site logistics for high-rise residential building construction.
• Coordinate material deliveries, unloading, storage, and distribution to designated floors and work areas.
• Plan and coordinate Tower Crane, Material Hoist, Passenger Hoist, and other lifting equipment operations.
• Develop and implement site logistics plans, including access routes, delivery schedules, laydown areas, and material storage arrangements.
• Coordinate daily logistics requirements with Construction Managers, Site Engineers, MEP teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Manage vertical and horizontal material transportation, particularly during structural, architectural, and MEP works.
• Monitor lifting equipment utilization and optimize material handling efficiency to minimize construction delays.
• Coordinate with HSE teams to ensure safe lifting operations, traffic management, and compliance with site safety requirements.
• Manage site access, delivery permits, and logistics arrangements in accordance with project and local authority requirements.
• Prepare daily and weekly logistics schedules and progress reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of construction site experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Proven experience in high-rise residential or mixed-use building projects.
• Previous experience working with a reputable Main Contractor is strongly preferred.
• Strong practical knowledge of Tower Crane, Construction Hoist, lifting operations, and site material handling.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and managing logistics within restricted site areas.
• Good understanding of UAE construction site safety practices and logistics requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-rise buildings of 30 floors or above.
• Experience managing multiple Tower Cranes and Construction Hoists.
• Experience in projects with restricted access, limited storage space, and complex material delivery requirements.
• Familiarity with Dubai construction regulations and site logistics procedures.
