As we continue to grow, we are now expanding into a new geographical area and are looking for an ambitious Surveyor & Operations Manager to play a key role in establishing and developing the territory. About the Role This is much more than a traditional surveying position. You will become a key representative of the More Than Loft Ladders brand within the new area, meeting homeowners in their properties, understanding their requirements, recommending the right solutions and preparing professional quotations. Alongside surveying and sales, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and growth of the territory , helping coordinate installations, manage customers and installation teams, maintain our high standards and develop the area into a successful and profitable part of the business. The role offers significant scope for progression as the territory grows and would suit someone who is commercially minded, highly organised, customer-focused and ambitious . Key Responsibilities Customer Surveys & Sales Attend pre-booked customer appointments and carry out professional loft surveys. Accurately measure loft spaces and assess access, layout and installation requirements. Understand each customer's needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Design and specify suitable loft storage and access systems. Prepare accurate and professional quotations. Explain our products, systems and recommendations clearly to customers. Follow up quotations and enquiries. Identify opportunities for additional products and services. Convert enquiries and quotations into confirmed installations. Deliver an excellent customer experience from initial survey through to completion. More Than Loft Ladders Products You will become knowledgeable across our full range of products and services, including: Raised loft boarding systems Loft ladders Loft hatches Loft lighting Loft insulation Loft shelving and accessories Loft clear-outs and preparation work You will be responsible for ensuring customers receive honest, practical advice and a solution that genuinely meets their requirements. Operations Management As the new area develops, you will take increasing responsibility for the operational side of the territory. This will include: Coordinating installations following successful surveys. Managing customer communication and expectations. Working closely with installation teams. Scheduling and organising upcoming projects. Ensuring the correct materials and equipment are available. Supporting installers and resolving issues where required. Carrying out quality checks. Managing customer queries and after-sales requirements. Helping maintain the company's high standards and customer satisfaction. Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability. Business Growth A key part of the position will be helping to establish More Than Loft Ladders as the leading loft storage and access provider within the new territory . You will: Take ownership of agreed sales and revenue targets. Monitor and improve quotation conversion. Develop customer referrals and recommendations. Identify opportunities for local business development. Build relationships with customers and local contacts. Represent the More Than Loft Ladders brand professionally within the community. Provide feedback on local market conditions and opportunities. Contribute ideas to help increase enquiries and grow the territory. Support local marketing and promotional activity where required. About You We're looking for someone who wants to build something , rather than simply do a job. You will ideally have experience in surveying, construction, home improvements, property, sales, operations, project management or a similar customer-facing environment. However, industry experience isn't everything. Attitude, ambition and commercial awareness are equally important. You will be: Commercially driven and motivated by achieving results. Customer focused , with the confidence to build rapport with homeowners. Practical , with the ability to understand measurements, layouts and installation requirements. Organised , able to manage appointments, quotations and projects effectively. Self-motivated , comfortable working independently and taking ownership.
