These cases are won in the details, and we’re looking for a litigation paralegal to hold those details, and these families, all the way through. ❖ WHY WE DO THIS WORK This firm’s purpose is to bring truth to light. When a family is brave enough to bring a claim, we get to show what a company did and make it cost enough that they think twice before doing it to the next family. We change the industry one case at a time. This work has put us on 60 Minutes, CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg, The New York Times, and Fox News. But the families you’ll be working for are often the ones nobody’s watching, the Texas family waiting on an update, wondering if anyone’s still fighting for them. You’ll be the reason they know we are. ❖ WHAT YOU’LL DO You’ll be at the heart of our team, keeping cases moving and clients cared for. You understand that great paralegals do not simply support litigation. They help drive it. In a given week, you’ll: ▪ Keep our case files in order, pleadings, discovery, correspondence, so nothing slips and every case keeps its velocity. ▪ Draft and shape the documents that move a case: demand letters, pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and trial briefs. ▪ Run discovery, draft interrogatories and requests for production, summarize depositions, and schedule depositions and mediations. ▪ Work with our experts, gather the evidence, and build the exhibits, focus-group and mediation presentations, and trial binders that win. ▪ File with the courts on time, every time, and keep our litigation calendar airtight so no deadline is ever missed. ▪ Stay close to clients so two weeks never pass without word, and they always know exactly what’s happening in their case. ❖ WHO YOU ARE This role runs on heart and on precision. Here’s what matters to us: ▪ You’re organized, can track deadlines, and don’t let things fall through the cracks. ▪ You’re a warm, steady communicator who can calm a frightened client and keep a court clerk on your side. ▪ You know your way around litigation, discovery, court filings, deadlines, trial prep (Texas civil practice and personal injury, state and/or federal court all a plus). ▪ This work means something to you. Newer to toxic torts? If you’ve got the fundamentals and the heart, we’ll teach you our cases. ❖ HOW WE’LL SUPPORT YOU You won’t be thrown in alone. You’ll have guidance from the owner and a managing attorney, a team of dedicated and talented paralegals and legal assistants in your corner, and education in how we build and try these cases. We think out loud together. We ask our paralegals what they think about our cases and value their opinions. We share what works.
