As an Associate in the Litigation Department, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys. - 2-4 years of complex commercial litigation experience in a law firm; trial experience is a plus - Experience preparing and arguing pleadings and contested motions (such as complaints, motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, applications for temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunction) - Experience taking and defending depositions and working with expert witnesses - Desire to support fast moving deadline-driven cases, such as non-compete litigation and actions to protect trade secrets, where we represent clients as both plaintiffs and defendants - Stellar writing ability and excellent academic credentials, as writing ability is critical for this position (we ask that you submit two writing samples with your application) - Strong analytical and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-oriented and collaborative work environment - Candidates must be admitted to the Washington State Bar
