# Lighting Designer **Cion Lighting Technologies** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 2 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role RETAIL LIGHTING DESIGNER-MALE Looking for an experienced Lighting Designer with a strong background in Retail Lighting to join our team in the UAE. We are looking for someone who understands that retail lighting is not just about achieving lux levels , it is about presenting merchandise, creating the right ambience and enhancing the customer experience. Key Responsibilities Develop lighting concepts and layouts for fashion stores, supermarkets, electronics stores, furniture showrooms, pharmacies, jewellery stores, automotive showrooms and other retail spaces Create lighting designs based on store concept, merchandise display, customer movement and brand identity Design effective general, accent, display, shelf, façade and feature lighting Select appropriate luminaires, wattages, beam angles, colour temperatures and CRI for different retail applications Carry out DIALux / DIALux evo calculations and optimize designs for performance and energy efficiency Prepare AutoCAD lighting layouts, fixture schedules, BOQs and technical submittals Work with architects, interior designers, consultants and fit-out contractors during design development and approvals Review architectural, reflected ceiling and furniture/display layouts and integrate lighting accordingly Provide technical support during project execution and ensure the final installation achieves the intended lighting effect Candidate Profile Proven experience in Retail Lighting Design Strong command of DIALux / DIALux evo and AutoCAD Good understanding of lux levels, CRI, CCT, beam angles, glare control and light distribution Strong understanding of accent lighting and merchandise presentation Experience working with retail brands, interior designers and fit-out contractors will be a major advantage Good communication and presentation skills Location: UAE If you understand how the right lighting can transform a retail space, highlight merchandise and strengthen a brand's in-store experience, we would like to hear from you.
