Light Duty Driver
JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Light Duty Driver Department: Operations / Transport Industry: Construction Reports To: Project Manager / Site Supervisor / Transport Coordinator Employment Type: Full-Time Location: UAE Job Purpose The Light Duty Driver is responsible for the safe, reliable, and timely transportation of company personnel, documents, tools, materials, and other operational requirements between offices, project sites, warehouses, suppliers, and other designated locations. The position requires a strong commitment to road safety, vehicle care, punctuality, and compliance with company and UAE traffic regulations. Key Responsibilities Safely operate company light vehicles, including cars, vans, and pickup vehicles, as authorized by the company. Transport employees, engineers, supervisors, workers, materials, tools, documents, and other items as required for construction operations. Ensure the safe and timely transportation of personnel and materials to project sites and other assigned destinations. Maintain the vehicle in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition at all times. Maintain accurate vehicle records, including trip sheets, mileage, fuel consumption, delivery records, and maintenance reports. Follow approved routes and schedules while using GPS/navigation systems where required. Comply fully with UAE traffic laws, company driving policies, site regulations, and health and safety requirements. Exercise defensive driving practices and maintain a high standard of road safety. Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment when required, while following appropriate safety procedures.
