Key Responsibilities Supervise lifting and rigging operations at the worksite. Ensure lifting activities are carried out in accordance with approved lifting plans and method statements. Verify that cranes, lifting equipment, accessories, and rigging gear are inspected, certified, and suitable for the intended load. Conduct pre-lift briefings and toolbox talks with the lifting team. Coordinate crane operators, riggers, signalmen/banksmen, and other personnel involved in lifting operations. Ensure exclusion zones and safe working areas are established before lifting. Check load weight, lifting points, center of gravity, lifting accessories, and ground conditions. Stop lifting operations immediately if unsafe conditions or deviations from the approved plan are identified. Monitor weather and site conditions that may affect lifting operations. Maintain required lifting records, inspection certificates, and documentation. Report incidents, near misses, equipment defects, and unsafe practices. Coordinate with the Site Manager, Lifting Appointed Person/Engineer, HSE team, and other relevant personnel.
